I'm not on any ship, just very impressed with some performances especially Tan Jian Ci's. He drew me in the first second I saw him. Didn't know he or this drama exist (I'm relatively new to this asian entertainment thing), I just watched a random video of Xiang Liu suggested by youtube and I was done for (it's the one where he sings that song from Love Me Love My Voice mixed with scenes from Lost You Forever). TJC's acting, voice, presence and intensity on screen captivated me in an instant. It was obvious that it was a sad story and I didn't want to watch it but he convinced me with his talent. There's a lot to learn from most of the characters, I could relate to and learn a lot from many of them, but XL is the most impactful to me.
This sadness is heavy... I held it in yesterday and thought I was doing ok-ish but here I am a day later not being…
I think it's either or a mix of a) to be heard/seen in this world and b) to make money by using emotions and thrills. There always was and will be an audience for sad stories, love stories, heroes stories, horror stories and everything in between, because well, human life contains all that and people can relate to this or, on the contrary, they just want to experience new things.
This sadness is heavy... I held it in yesterday and thought I was doing ok-ish but here I am a day later not being able to hold my tears. And they are not turning into pearls either. Yeah, not me trying to cover my pain with sarcasm...
*sighs... Me coming here all brokenhearted seeking therapy after Lost You Forever's finale 💔🤧 XiangLiu, I can't wait to watch you having a sweet love story in this incarnation... Let the healing commence 🥹
As Prometeumoderno said, these people are watching this drama with their ass, not their eyes. Other than, 'that's…
