By your profile picture, I can tell that you were looking for something as amazing as Signal. And actually, I couldn't agree more. I've dropped this drama very quickly because of this. Pretty much overrated.

As of the first episode, the show doesn't seems to go anywhere beyond expectations. In fact, it seems like an old schedule you could find in any other telenovela. The approval comments, however, are making me stick to it — I'll be definitely looking forward next episodes before a final verdict.

This drama is so good that it make other korean series feel stupidly average and badly produced. I'll be waiting for the second season as it seems there is no any reasonable replacement to this. Excellent.

Finished it months ago and still couldn't find any good replacement to this. Definitely one of the favorites!

Introductive. It's watchable, but I couldn't help but falling into boringness in some parts of the first episode. Only some contenders at fifty minutes and the very last minutes felt a little bit compelling. However, I'll be holding it for more episodes because the plot seems promising, and I hope they can define it somewhere psychological and profound (also, most viewers says the next episodes gets better). It's always a pleasure to watch Lee Je Hoon with a little-exposive white shirt~

An excellent thriller-action powerhouse movie to be remembered. It is imperfect, but tremendously enjoyable. I would rate it as a solid 9.0, but you can try this out as a 8.5 if you're either unoptimistic or strongly critic — but believe me, I already am.

Can anyone recommend me recent dramas which are as beautiful as this?

@Panda If you can't have any analytical sense it is in fact easier to think like all people with analytical skills are actually eighty years-old grandmas. Sadly, it won't make it any better. :( no need to get so pressed

In fact, the problem is not that it's a romance. Romance is my second favorite genre, and it's only behind Drama itself. I am pretty much ecletic and I enjoy all different kinds of setup that each genre has to offer (besides Comedy which might be one of the less impactful to me). But the thing is that this drama (for me) is in lack of meaningfulness, and being "about how goblin solves his immense grudge and solving injustice about his death and peace" only showcases how excellent it could have been. I don't know if the problem is either with the ausence of psychological counterparts or with the writer itself, which I didn't knew that was the same of the DOTS, but the second one makes it clear(er) to me why I might not like it. But I'll keep watching, as well as I finished DOTS (enjoying it or not), since I'm looking also forward what the writer want to show. I cannot judge the whole thing by the second half of the second episode.

I suppose Carol (2015) will satisfy you since it is also very well-directed and constructed movie. It might be a little different since the storyline doesn't have many twists, but it is unquestionably a worth watching; one of the best movies of the past year.

@JulySnow2 i feel/think just the same. It doesn't captivate me in any ways, the humor, romance, nothing. The only good thing I can talk about is the cinematography, which has beautiful scenarios and such lively colors. I won't drop it since I have already started (idk i just have this thing), but I'd like the rest of the drama would go along and be as good. Really hoping they can valorize the potential it has.

@Akaisora Oops, sorry if I crossed the line somewhere. It is indeed a very beautiful drama to watch, but it's missing something significant. Naturally, that's just my point of view, don't need to take it as a global verdict; the biiiiiiig majority of people seems to be enjoying it.

I'm in the second half of the second episode but until now, without any proper storyline or character development, it seems odd; hollow. It focuses on the romance and yet it is lacking any kind of essence, chemistry. I can see only superfluous interaction which might only satisfy a bunch of teenagers. Maybe that's the reason it is becoming so popular.

This is poor. As some may say, it has a sauce - but a very very very weak one. As of common sense, "maybe it's not your cup of tea" will partially stand for preference or opinion; but sadly, not quality. I know this might sound a little rude or anything, but honestly: if you watch hundreds of "random" tv shows and you like almost everything, as if without a strong critical/analytical sense at all, this will definitely be your cup of tea. Otherwise, no. Just no. Because this might be the most superfluous thing you've watched in a while.
