So I want to discuss about the live streaming which Man Di and Xie Wu did with the leads, got some english translations…
I watched it in chinese, my level is around B2 so my impression might have been different comparing to natives but to me he appeared nice and playful, it looked as if they're pretty close
Tencent gave us nothing this year so it makes sense that top 5 are just popular but not good because they literally…
I can agree for the rest but not for the Prisoner of Beauty. Both leads were not super popular comparing to other actors nor they are idols. The budget was also limited. It was the plot and acting that brought this drama recognition and brought so many international fans to Liu Yuning. Also don’t agree with “adding random stuff at the end” in the comment above, I was crying ugly for second leads and the story was perfectly wrapped. For me this drama had perfect balance between plot, enemy to lovers trop, gave fair screen time for second and third lead characters and left us with happy ending, no complains.
I see that many ppl complain about lack of immediate revenge etc but there are so many good revenge cdramas (e.g. the Double) that there is no need for another hoary old chestnut. This series uses a plot to show a character development, rather than plot causing unnecessary drama and 2nd lead schemes which is very refreshing. I love that it focuses on embracing yourself, women empowerment and shows that being strong does not have to be literal, it's about the mindset and fruit of your hard work. Also, something that is relatively rare in cdrama world: You don't have to stick with people or show respect to ppl who hurt you just because they are your family, you can choose family by yourself. Anyway, as a long time cdrama watcher it's the first in a year that cdrama actually made me wait for each episode, rewatch them and even giggle (while watching ep 17). Can't wait to see a confession of ML.
I finally finished watching it after two months. Dropped it at ep 18 bc i was so damn busy but then i didn't feel…
When they destroyed the resentful demon, Miaomiao didn't know others live in modern world, she thought that once they die, they will never reunite. She didn't know that Fu Zhou is the writer back then so obviously she chose to save her love and not come back to reality
iiiii love how writers made the timing perfect! I was not too late nor straightaway as we all expected, it was the time in both of their lives when everything wrapped up, cleared out and now they can fully support each other and enjoy the ride. So excited for the next episodes!
I am enjoying this drama but I would find it more believeable if it took place in Taiwan instead of China which…
Even with this policy, in mainland China there were families who had 2 children. It was accepted for people who had a lot of money and support and as we can assume from drama, Sang Zhi's family was very wealthy. Not many people have their own house with garden in such a big city.
Well, it's just my theory but when she screamed "doom this world" from that moment on she has to make that wish…
If what I'm thinking is true it will be either tragic ending but with him being happy to die while being loved which he thought he would've never experienced or there will be a big turnaround and he will be also reincarnated as a human or something (we know the god lives in this cycle)
Well, it's just my theory but when she screamed "doom this world" from that moment on she has to make that wish unless sb she loves is gonna die. Though, in spoiler to episode 3 we can see he asks her to be the first human to love him. I wish it wasn't that tragic but perhaps if she fall in love with him and she doesn't make a wish it will be the only way for him to die since he just exists and lives forever.
Dropped !!! TRAGIC ENDING ALERT YES IT WILL HAPPEN PERIOD !! Also very draggy I tried I tried ! Can't handle sad…
I mean, we're not sure of it until it ends. Just as somebody else mentioned in the comments if Myeol Mang is the ending then probably there is someone who is the beginning and can change the turn of the events
Taiwan has it's own government and same-sex marriage is legal in Taiwan. There is no censorship on any BL there.…
Hmm, I'm not Taiwanese, I'm just studying sinology but my teachers and friends from Taiwan said that referring to languages of Taiwan we should use term "Taiwanese" in general and so does wikipedia since there are Taiwanese Mandarin, Taiwanese Hokkien, Taiwanese Hakka and other languages of indigenous people there. I'm not that familiar with them to be able to recognise which exact one is used in this TV series so I said it like that. Do You know which one should I say to make it correct?
I've watched more than 200 c-dramas and for me it's one of the best

Weń Yifan didn't move to grandma because she wanted to but because during funeral her aunt suggested it to WYF's mom.
So excited for the next episodes!
