I know it was SZD who stabbed the princess. I think Ye Li was trying to protect her by grabbing SZD's hand, but unfortunately the dagger ended up in her hand before she passed out.

Also, did you notice that she's trying to impress CD? I know her knowledge of weather is very sharp. When she orchestrated the drama in the Ye Mansion, she definitely knew that it wasn't the dragon painting that brought the rain. Just by observing the wind direction, she could probably predict that rain was coming.
