As for me, I'm here for **Chu Ran** and **CZY**. I loved CZY in *Hidden Love*, so I was already looking forward to this.
Yes, the director has a mixed reputation because of some of his previous works. But his current drama has been doing well so far, and I genuinely hope it doesn't go downhill the way **TPG** did.
And honestly, I think the cast is a huge reason why it's working. If the direction starts slipping, I have faith that both leads have the acting skills to keep the drama engaging.

To this day, I don't think any drama has completely hooked me from Episode 1. I give every drama at least **4–6 episodes**, then decide whether it's worth continuing.
And one piece of advice I always give: **never—seriously, never—rely solely on MDL ratings.**
Trust your own instincts. Watch the first **4 or 6 episodes**, then decide for yourself. You might end up loving a drama that everyone else rated low, or dropping one that everyone else praised. Your experience is what matters most. 🎭
