This is another proof that a series with short episodes can be cute and great if it's well written and acted. Many of Strongberry's short films have already shown that these people are able to tell a complex story in 10 minutes. "Meow Ears Up" was a similar story, but it became boring because there were too many and too long episodes.
I still feel quite a bit of sympathy for Peak. I know its difficult, but I like characters facing conflicting…
It's true that it isn't clear why Peak keeps rejecting Kla, sometimes in a rude way. My guess is that he's been hurt so much in his life that he simply can't trust anyone. And he knows quite well that everybody else hates him now, so his self esteem is crushed, and he'll wonder why Kla wouldn't hate him, too.
I think Milk does a fantastic job displaying Peak's controversial character, given that he's a rookie, and the acting of almost everyone in this show is the main reason why I love it.
I love Run as an actor, but as a screenwriter he only recycles what dozens of BL screenwriters have written before. I'd drop this series, but Intha is there, and the leads are eye candy, too, so I can't.
It's always a bad sign when young men are thinking loud - it indicates the director doesn't trust them to convey their thoughts by acting. It's also a bad sign when too much time is wasted on minor roles, and too little on the leads' background. Another bad sign is the number of unpleasant characters, from the intrusive Ping to the superfluous Pai and Pink, and I wouldn't like the main leads as my roommates either, at least not for more than one night. The only lovely characters are Prince and Gear. Luring your love interest to your room with a glass of water indicates how innocent these two are when all the rest are getting drunk every night. Do I like this series? I guess not. Will I watch it to the bitter end? I'm afraid I will, hoping that at the end of the finale they will announce a spin-off with Gear and Prince.
There seem to be two popular trends in Thai BLs at the moment: 1. Opening a series with a steamy sex scene (Fahlanruk, Forgotten Night, Big Dragon), but then making grown-up men act like high schoolers which is weird. 2. Having the leads discuss same sex marriage, which is a good thing, unless it comes out of nowhere like here.
The sound of the internet connection / dial up has been all sorts of triggering. MY GOSH we suffered dial up internet
Didn't the suffering come up in hindsight? As far as I remember, we were proud when we heard that sound because our neighbour didn't have that strange thing called internet, and we thought it was fast when a page appeared after five minutes.
Hey, which of his other works did you like him in?
He starred in Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, a spinoff from Why Love Why season 2, which started promising, but ended weakly, not only because the final episode wasn't subbed, but because the characters weren't consistent.
I'm enjoying this series. The writer had some nice ideas, like ghosts playing ghosts. Kawin and Pluem are a nice BL-couple, and Guide is the most lovely, stupid little ghost.
That wasn't anything sensational, but a solid start. Tonliew is cute, and the big guy reminds me of Billkin. However, my legs hurt like hell when Yoshi stepped on the broken glass.
A beautiful series with a gathering of talented actors, with JC Lopez, Keleb Ong, Mar Soriano, and Orly Mejia, just to name a few. Minor technical flaws can be forgiven as it is a low budget production, and as such much better than many others.
KanThuas's story is cute, has been cute from the beginning, but First clearly stole this episode. I knew he was a good actor, but I didn't expect him to be this good.
