I can't stand when men wear their hair up, so I barely recognized Keam, who looks so sexy with it down.I'm not…
I was watching it mainly for Kaownah and Turbo, but Kaownah has been acting weird in this from the start making funny faces and idiotic gestures. What a waste of talent!
I'm seriously thinking about watching the remaining episodes without subtitles and even turning off the sound, because the only reason to keep watching is the actors who are really cute. If anyone is looking for an alternative that makes more sense, I recommend 'The Comments' which isn't BL, but a well written story, and it has New and Aye (Torfun).
Growing up is painful at times. That's life. This series isn't meant to be a fairy tale, which is painful to watch at times. But it reflects the hardships we all have to go through. PP and Billkin are doing a great job portraying these bitter moments.
Not the most intellectual story, but it's entertaining, and Hank and Aaron make it worth watching anyway. Ep 4 was better than the previous ones I think. Hope ep 5 will build up on this.
Promising start into season 2, qas worth the wait. Great to see Prince and Nico together again. Production seems to be improving. Ost is beautiful again.
I asked a neighbour about it, a Filipina nurse working at a nearby hospital, and she said that cockfighting (and…
It has taken me a while to realize that some of the Pinoy series are full of historical and political allusions. I was too much used to the mere BL storylines I was used to from watching Thai series. 'Stranger's Kiss' and 'Padayon', and discussions with my neighbour changed my view, and if you take a closer look you will find these allusions even in series like 'B x J forever' where the SOGIE bill is an underlying theme. In 'Why Love Why' the background of the two families are also related to modern history (which I guess will be worked out more in season 2). Bearing in mind how dangerous it is to make statements like that in the recent situation in the Philippines, I can only appreciate the courage of filmmakers.

I just remembered the death of a fighting cock was a topic in 'Why love why', episode 6. I misunderstood it as a comic element, watched it again and it's obvious the mother's grief is serious because the cock provided the family's income..

Thanks. Will watch it soon, but now lockdown has been lifted a little, no curfew any more, may come together with more than just one person, and first real warm day today, so will go outside and meet friends more the next few days.
Alex is so rude - not just to VJ, but also a service person, which I think is really low-class and a sign of a…
I asked a neighbour about it, a Filipina nurse working at a nearby hospital, and she said that cockfighting (and betting) is the national sport in the Philippines. That's why many people keep roosters in their backyard, so it's the natural soundtrack of villages and cities. You can make a lot of money if you have a successful rooster or / and you place a bet on the winner.
What I like about this series: Both and Newyear as love doctors, Lukmo and Simai as attracting opposites, and Aof who I've loved and missed a lot since MIR. Don't wanna talk about the things I don't like because it's Sunday and one should always be positive on Sundays.

I was referring to 'His - I didn't think I would fall in love'. Goes with a number of different titles, so could be the same. Main actors are Kusakawa and Kura who I thought were amazing. - I love GSP because it tells my story (Vlad's part to be precise, incl. exactly this kind of sister) which probably is quite stereotypical.
Keeping in mind this is a debut project, production and acting were okay. Main characters are unpleasant, but some very attractive side characters, no wonder VJ's eyes are bulging. Story seems to be the good old enemy to lover thing. Don't know if that will be enough to make a series worth watching, but let's give it a chance.

"IPYTM and ITSAY are in an entirely different class of their own" Agree. Maybe rather coming of age stories than Super-BL. There are two series I love as much as these two although they are very different regarding budget and cinematography: Gaya sa pelikula (Philippines) and His (Japan).
