Okay is it just me or did anyone cry watching this drama?!?! I cried for certain scenes
It's super sad to see his shifu die so early but it's the only way for the characters to develop and it allows the plot to further develop. They can't always have someone saving them at critical moments. Also, it's his shifu that saved Lu Ping and his sister from Shan Hai Lou
Why do i have a feeling that Yan Xi Fan is evil? Or it is just me?
Just you haha. I think he's a super interesting person who sticks to his upright principles. I feel like Wen Ge Cheng is evil though, when he asked Sang Sang if she encountered someone who has the Soul Confinement
they haven't announced their marriage publicly but there are rumors they got married already.
I just saw. Douban listed them as husband and wife as they have been engaged 2 years ago. But I don't see them on each other's weibo or any news on their relationship. Seems weird

Cause I have also seen rumors on weibo and google saying they could have broke up as their engagement is ongoing for 2 years without any further information. I have not checked their official weibo though
Can someone tell me if His Wuque grows some brain cells please? I just finished ep 20 and he was so naive really.…
He is naive because he was raised in Yihua Palace for 18 years. He explored the 江湖 for the first time in his life after 18 years, of course he isn't used to the evil nature human has. He also listens to his aunts as they raised him telling him he needs to kill XYE when he was young.
this is hands down one of the best wuxia dramas. if you're into this genre then its a drama for you
Agreed. Just good old plain wuxia drama. These days they tend to "buff" the wuxia movies by having fancy villages and what not. This is a good old classic wuxia drama, very nice to watch.
I've watched the prequels countless times but which one should I watch first BTTH or Martial Universe?
Doesn't matter but BTTH is much better than Martial Universe even though the ML of Martial Universe is more popular. Go for Fights Break Spheres, much better drama than The Great Ruler and Martial Universe

Really? As I recall, they said Evernight was going to have 3 seasons from the start in a press conference. I agree, I have no idea how they are going to continue a season 3 but someone else said they have already began casting for season 3. Could be done in 2022/2023 as covid-19 has put all the drama on hold for now.
Can anyone tell me what exactly happened to SS on the last episode ? Did she get back with NQ again at last ?
This series was planned out to have 3 seasons. HT decided to follow NQ into the man’s world to see why SS loved it so much and ultimately want to cut the natal connection. Will be continued in s3
Can't understand, after watching few episodes, NQ character in EN 2 is so different compares to EN 1. in EN 1,…
Because the villains in season 2 are way stronger than that of season 1. The only villain against NQ was Xia Hou, which he can't even beat the Academy disciples. The villains in season 2 are way stronger than the Academy and NQ himself.
Drama only getting very low ratings because it did not live up to the first season's expectations. Overall an average - good drama other than it being quite draggy. Loved that the true powers of the first 3 disciples of the academy are being revealed and they are not as invincible as they are in season 1. Fighting scenes and CGI were much better in season 2. Hopefully season 3 won't be as draggy as season 2.
