The pace of Episode 5: Evanescing was painfully slow. Some scenes were unnecessarily prolonged with repetitive…
Yup, only the actors are the saving grace of this series. After seeing some of the director's previous works, I really wasn't keen on watching this. And viola, I was indeed correct. What those previous series' problems under the same director has, it isn't spared on this one. The story itself is interesting but truly, the technicalities, editing and of course, the director, really need an upgrade; or in this case, a change.

WHY DID IT TAKE ME SO LONG TO WATCH THIS??!! I've been seeing people talk about this show left and right but I…
Can I just ask what is it about the language that you don't like? Is it the code switching thing? Since beside that, for me, the national language of Filipino is one of the better sounding languages around, due to its phonetic accent.

Wow...BLs are really starting to cross borders. First, ''Meet me in Bangkok'' and now this. Hope this trend will continue.

Hey, can you spoil me about the ending. What happened between them and were they united at last? In what way?
Oh tnx. So it's definitely an open-ending. Yup, I can see why you're a bit disappointed with it. I am too now knowing about it.

Only the production is the problem, but the story and its progression is actually something good. You could see the passion that the team behind this series has, despite the thing I mentioned.

I'll keep an eye on this, even though I don't really trust Asterisk after My Extraordinary.
Hahaha, me too. But their other works like A kiss to remember and Meet you in Bangkok also got my attention, like this one did.

Yup, I have the same feeling...knowing that the second season will lead to a movie. And I bet, the movie will resolve the conflict to be created in this latest season.

Knowing how the story is structured, are you really surprised?

This series is going to be a musical, so they are definitely going for a happy direction.
Really, a musical? If it's true, this will bring another flavor into the bL world for sure.

They should learn that long dialogues aren't enough to compensate for some missing stories between the characters (like Brendalynne and Josh, relationship, Bart's first months/years in Manila, etc) . Also, those said dialogues in times didn't even do that; which is sad. But I hope they learned from this and go better with Season 2.
