What a sea of villains this is.

Jae In's mother is no less selfish or evil than shady ex husband. She may have been right about him but while she was treating him horribly, she did not know that. Back then, he was acting as a decent husband but she detested and berated him simply bc he was not of their class. For a mother to do that to her daughter's husband whom she loves and appears to be happy with is uncalled for. That aside, the fact that she has no remorse for killing (as far as she knows) someone is just further proof that she cares only for how things will benefit her, not how she gets there or who gets hurt. Unfortunately, that way of thinking will be her downfall bc it causes her to be impulsive and careless.

Mi Ran is a hypocrite of the highest order. She preached at FL about how she did not vote for her bc of FL's personal feelings yet the only reason Mi Ran is determined to keep the company is for her son, not bc he is competent. She hates FL's mother for how Seung Woo was treated but she doesn't consider that if she had told FL's mother the truth long ago then maybe she wouldn't have fostered bad feelings thinking her husband cheated. It will be interesting when she is abandoned by Seung Woo down the road...

Seung Woo is being used. Always has been but he deserved that slap. When has his sister never treated him like family. He's a brat but I hope to see him become independent and less entitled.

Yu Kyeong is perhaps the worst of them all bc unlike everyone else, she tries to pretend that she is not in control of the negative things she does. Countdown until she goes full Se Ri. That jealousy and resentment toward FL is about to come out in full. Maybe after she uses that shampoo they keep advertising.

Shady ex husband's sis is an annoyance to watch and listen to. Just had to get that off my chest.

Now that FL found out where she is living, perhaps she will soon inform ML that his sister discovered shady ex husband's corruption prior to her murder. Then, ML will shift his target for revenge and they may join hands if she finds out that truck of doom driver is connected to Se Ri and/or shady ex. In any case, looks like Dr guy is already starting to fall for her.

I know. That's one of the ones I just don't understand. Then if they do threaten/manipulate the person enough to actually get them, they become utterly surprised that said hostage is an empty shell beside them. These psychos always yelling, "Why are you thinking of that person (you love) when you are now (forcefully) with me?!"

It's always a ridiculous trope. Even in real life, why would anyone want to force someone to be with them? Imagine knowing their heart and thoughts are elsewhere. Why???????

I kind of see how someone would do that. Her kid is there, maybe. She doesn't know esp after what shady husband said to her last. I think someone in that position would be a ball of emotions and desperately needing answers. Rational thought would be out the window.

I'm guessing Dr fake friend Yu Kyung will be the one to accidentally reveal dr ML's past then when he and FL break up fake friend dr will drug him, wake up at some hotel then a couple episodes later, fake a pregnancy and now they must get married. FL screwed all over again...until their love overcomes all the lies. Again.

I always thought she had hidden resentment toward the FL and I think as the drama continues, she will be even worse. She is not really her friend and def does seem interested in the dr ML. When he gets even closer to FL, she may just turn into another Se Ri...

You're right. She is naive but I also see her as willfully ignorant at times. She can be perceptive enough to see the problem or potential of but for whatever reason, she brushes it off. That said though, it is true that the villains are gonna villain - her being more aware and defensive would just make their villain work more difficult, not turn them into good people.

Agreed. And, it will be a hard reality check for him when he realizes it bc greedy and evil as he is, he actually loves her (or whatever his heart is capable of feeling that mimics love).

Have you watched A Place in the Sun? Not as frustrating as most of these and pretty much all the characters are grey including mains. Of course, there was evil and stupidity but not too extreme (the former).

Wow, this episode. The level of gaslighting from mother and son duo was so extreme that I think I almost started apologizing to the screen like FL for my eyes having seen things contrary to what mom/son said.

Looking forward to the day MIL and shady husband find out that Se Ri has been playing them all along.

She was. But then again, almost every character in Love Twist was some sort of fool. Happy watching!

FL is just a naive, ignorant, self sacrificing idiot so far. Yoo Gyeong is the worst, I think. Besides everything you mentioned, she looks like she is marinating some evil tendencies that she will unleash against the FL later while still pretending to be her bff.

My thought of that was bc everyone else (minus psycho) think she did it as a mistake. So now that her evil husband and MIL think that she is having an affair, esp MIL, it may resurface as a "oh, is that why you tried to kill him that one time?". Then psycho will say that FL confessed and asked she keep it a secret and bc FL was dumb enough to forgive and not tell anyone, she'll look like she's trying to pin it on psycho.

BUT that's a far off possibility. Either way, def agree that they'll find a way to get FL locked away somewhere. Can't wait to see how they do it.

I think they might circle back to the husband's stomach issue and have her sent to jail for *knowingly* poisoning him. They'll probably claim that she tried to kill him bc she wanted to be with her "affair partner" dr guy.
