I have been watching this drama since ep 6 aired or something ? so yeah I have been all along
I haven't watch the ch ver. and I don't know if I'm going too .
I love this drama so much lol maybe at some point I even became obsessed it was part of the couple last months
anyhow , I can't deny that the drama lacked in some parts ...
if we are going to talk about the main laid , Lee jun ki , he did more than awesome job .
he manged to look the best and deliver the best performance . he put wang so in new light , a whole newlight that we are feel for wang so , so much right now and I dare to say that all thanks to junki in this . I can see that the script wasn't the best thing , it lacked in more parts than not sometimes making me mad and frustrated that things ended up like that , that other things didn't get explained enough . that we needed at some parts more scenes to see what happened .
even through that Lee junki manged to got wangso character as perfect as he could
for IU , I have to admit it that usually I don't find her act admirable , but I admired her alot in her , in more scene than not , I find myself captivated with her way of acting and how she delivered the scene yet we will back to the same problem that the script unfortunately wasn't well made one it lacked alot .
I did love haesoo more times than not , her relationship with wook in the beginning so much and I did love her with soo
most of all I liked her relationship with the courtlady and wook wife .
she frustrated me to no end at other parts , I wished she wans't so naive (?) if I may say ...
now talking about the princes
tbh I didn't have much expectations at all but they prove me wrong
wook : hanuel did equal to great performance as wook , the character changed so much all through the drama and he did a great job doing ever single change and deliver it right
I loved wook so much in the beginning , felt sorry for him in the middle , hated him with passion toward the end , the character development was mindblown , I believe that haneul was one of the reason for this drama success
3rd prince : I must say that I was kind of surprised from junghyun performance tbh I didn't take him as a good actor before but he did a great job doing 3rd prince role .
tbh I didn't hate 3rd prince with passion like I did for wook , maybe because he was evil from the very start lol anyway I find it blessing that his character was kinda well made , I mean that scene in the end was awesome , when he found out that he is not much different from so , I cried alot becasue , I actually petty him
14th prince : come to my fave person lol needless to say that jisoo is a great young actor that I admire alot
actually I like the change in 14th prince character from the playful carefree person , to the one who hated get his brothers killed to the great general to the passionate lover
maybe , just maybe he wasn't there in many scenes yet again and again I find myself specially in the last eps waiting for him , one of the most awesome scenes when 10th prince got killed and he was going after so , I cried alot . not to mention the ending .. I ached alot for him tbh , because he loved unconditionally without asking for anything in return , I admired him for that , and I hated that he has to go through all of that , I wish that hae soo will find in her to at least acknowledge that but it was too hard .. he was in so much sadness and ache :(
baek ah : baek ah was such a refreshing character , I loved his relationship with so the most , tbh I should say that I never cared about his love interest lol I just didn't like how they arranged his scene with woohye + I didn't like soohyun acting at all so usually I just fastforward their scenes lol but yeah , I kinda like all his scene with so , his releationship with wook wife and haesoo , I liked his character alot , he was so tender to live in the castle anyway even though I know how much it will saddened so if he left , yet he eventually did
courtlady oh : I can't say enough how much this character effected me , she was so beautiful , she hold herself perfectly she is just awesome , her role made me cry alot , I cried so damn much when she passed away :((
prince won & his wife : I didn't like won that much tbh I found him too care free I didn't like baekhyun acting in the start but when he had that small talk with haesoo , the final scene was awesome
ama for his wife I liked her very very very much liked her acting and character too :( she loved him so much :( their ending was so sad and cruel

I noticed in the drama too that the sometime let the side sotries \ characters take more time than the other important events and I hated that alot

like imagine you're the one who made the one you love forget you like you were never there and then the back and forth between those worlds could drive her crazy with sadness
and when I thought that nothing new left to see BAM
this plot twist that I never see coming and made me lose my mind for a bit
like when I saw the teaser for next ep seems like kang chul life will get ruined more than it was

ep 5 & 6 were rather clam and I'm still thinking that the speed of ep 1-4 were so fast .. I don't know what to expact from now on , I loved ep 6 tho it was foucing in eun joo charcter and how she's trying not to show her sadness over what happend to kangchul
