But knowing how XWY and LM operate, they are only hiding things because they don’t want her caught in the danger.
Honestly, I think the moment XWY gets injured, when LM uses her hand to shoot him, that’s when everything finally comes out. Either LM will have to tell her the truth at that point. And we already see a hint of that in the ending MV where XJY is crying, so it lines up perfectly.
As for LM becoming emperor, I’m not sure, haha. The current emperor already said he doesn’t have long to live so realistically LM is the only one left to take the throne, especially since XWY has zero interest in becoming emperor himself.

If XWY and LM are pretending to be on opposite sides, they have to make it look completely real. Their enemies need to believe the fight is genuine, lol
20 eps in and honestly? It feels like XWY and LM are staging an act, pretending to stand on opposite sides while quietly working together to clear out every rotten official in the court. (This doesn’t include LLJ and her whole evil scheme against XJY’s mom, that’s its own mess.)
The moment that push me toward this conclusion was the flashback with XWY and XJY’s mom. She ask him what he would do if LM wasn’t the ruler he believe he had become. But we never hear XWY’s answer. To me, that silence says everything. They already have a plan and XWY trusts LM completely.
And look at the earlier eps:
LM confronting XWY about not marrying XJY At first, it look like the start of their downfall, enemies in the making. But instead, we get the flashback of XWY giving LM the map to his residence, specifically so LM could help XJY escape. That’s not betrayal. That’s coordination.

The VA did a good job imo. He tried to imitate HMH's voice as HMH couldn't do the dubbing personally.
He really did a great job, haha which is why I got confused. I saw fans saying Hou Minghao couldn’t dub for Xiao Wuyi because he strained his vocal cords during Singer, so when I watched the trailers I honestly thought it was his real voice.
Hou Minghao looks absolutely incredible in Key to the Phoenix Heart. 😍 He’s so convincing as a general. That powerful aura, the battle-worn intensity, everything fits him perfectly. And that curly hairstyle he’s rocking right now? He’s just effortlessly handsome and cool every single time. Plus, I’m so happy he used his natural voice for Xiao Wuyi. ❤️
This was a joy to watch, haha. I love every bit of every episodes. Especially with hmh as Hua Biao was my favorite and him playing the character is absolutely amazing ❤️

I don't believe AH's clan will kill HY's father and the rest of the villagers with a sword when they have power. I think it was the remaining ones that kill everyone since they are the only one alive
