He got the attention of the other group daughter in law for the grand scheme of his plan, he's planning on avenge his old self in a larger and bigger scale than what we've seen yet (my hypothesis), if it isn't for that reason, u might be right, although i think he's doing all this to "fake" and make himself look smaller than he is, like a naive 20yo kid. to make himself appear with no other way around to escape, when in reality he's following his plan step by step, which ill think we'll see it in the last few eps. I mean this is basically what he's been doing in the first six episodes.

You've watch a lot of kdrama and u don't seem to know how most of them work lol, the drama hasn't finish yet, it's EP 6 and you're writing a whole essay about speculation and hypothesis... The FL is a 20 yo girl while the Ml has the experience of a 60yo so obviously as you can clearly see there's a big difference in maturity between both characters. i think you're reading too much imo, most of these type of kdrama start like this and all your answer will be answered as the drama goes on
