In the novel, Mo Xin and Mo Wan become the prey from their other sister, Yao Shu Ran, and the emperor, Ye Hong Yi. Ye Hong Yi got the throne because Mo Xin's intelligent but he hated her because she made him feel like a useless person. Mo Xin died in hatred. Her soul transferred to her third sister (from the same mother). Mo Wan at that time was fell to Shu Ran's trap and was sent to brothel. Mo Wan has mentality like a child because the legitimate wife of her father fed poison to her mother while she was carrying Mo Wan. When Mo Xin's soul enter Mo Wan's body, the real Mo Wan already dead. Mo Xin wants revenge for everything that happened to her. She seduced the emperor and become concubine, along with her evil sister, Shu Ran. She did so many scheme to revenge to Hong Yi and Shu Ran. She also wants to repay back Ye Jun Qing for everything he did for her while she was Mo Xin. Jun Qing already fell in love with Mo Xin in the beginning, and feel so depressed when know that Mo Xin died. So when Jun Qing found out that Mo Wan (Mo Xin) became a concubine and destroyed everything Mo Xin did first, he became confused.

I almost didn't start watching this after reading some reviews. But i'm glad i did. So far I like the first two episodes. I like it because this drama is based on historical facts.
