Was waiting for another Xianxia with AOL's budget. Hope this will cure myself from rewatching AOL clips. Love the shining, shimmering, splendid aesthetic effect. I can see the similar plot from the trailer (heaven realm -> mortal realm -> demon realm), but ofc those won't be the reason for me to stop watching this :D

It was said several times that they want CSS to marry 良人/"liang ren" which may means good man or ordinary man. I believe they don't want CSS to live with much hurdles, be with the in-law, political matters or etc, just a simple and happy life.

Oic, that's why this ending seems a bit rushed.

Why 40 episodes?

I have never seen Minglan, but in the first half of the story, I would say the romance is quite fast paced. Both FL and ML are really smart. Recommended 👍

The way they solved the problems at the end seems a bit forceful, although this is the ending I hoped for lolol
But nonetheless this drama topped my 2022 cdrama list 👍

Ikr, they communicate really well, except GQF hardly tells ZPE about the Xiao family, even dodgy about it. But I don't get why he doesn't tell her about her father. Is it because he's afraid ZPE will hate him since he is Xiao's son, or he's afraid ZPE might be hurt by knowing the truth?
If ZPE decides to break up with him either way, telling the truth might be better. Then again, the storyline is moving toward the cliche parents problem (not that I hate it). I hope the author will end the conflict in a beautiful way.

Bener, klimaksnya ada di 14 eps terakhir. Kalo liat trailernya sampai eps 32, sedih banget. Semoga semuanya bisa dapet happy ending, termasuk Yinzhang yg agak oleng wkwk.

Sebenernya tingkah Shen Ruzhuo ini sudah aneh dari awal, jadi ga berharap kalo dia baek2 orgnya. Apalagi Chiya sudah ngasi tau kalo dia itu red flag aka playboy, jadi ya gitu dah.

Not a fan of anyone, but based from what I observed, Ning Jing is straightforward about what she like and doesn't plus her classy confidence and hint of arrogance, since she debuted 30+ years ago, experience won't lie. I get why people don't like her attitude. Even NaYing shows similar attitude like her, but with different and friendlier style. Compared to season 1, she's milder here since she used to be the partcipant and need to care only herself, but now she's the leader with heavy responsibilities to keep her team members safe from elimination.
I don't think she's negatively criticizing the opponent team, but mostly support, giving more compliments and boost the confidence of her members.
Seeing many participants chose to stay in her team on the 2nd round, shows she's a great leader, isn't she?

Ik this drama doesn't really follow the webtoon, but Sunghoon Yeongseo deserve happy ending relationship with her father blessing.
I was waiting for grandpa - Sunghoon - yeongseo badass scene tho.

I prefer this over WWWSK, no childhood connection, ML and FL develop feelings purely because they are interested in each other. Weeping today and jealous in the next day? This drama has faster pace with only 12 episodes instead the usual 16+ episodes, If you binged this in a day, ofc you will felt that even faster.

Cdramas (webdrama) tend to have these cliche romance plots (low budgets, plotholes, etc), because people like them, so those watching both might find "Business Proposal" a bit predictable.
As with other 2010s Korean romcoms, the plot is supposed to be like this and they don't write these kinds of plots in Korea nowadays. Hence, for the "Kdrama only" viewers, this refreshes their minds after watching the heavy plotted Kdrama these days.
I can affirm 4 out of 5 Kdramas produced in 2015 and above don't have this kind of CEO and employee tropes.You can conclude these kinds of dramas aren't for you. If you're looking for another style of romance, you can try "Twenty Five Twenty One," another popular ongoing Kdrama.
Or if you are into intense romance, then most Asian romance dramas aren't for you.
Watch "Euphoria" or something, you might like those.
