i had no clue this dramas rating dropped so much! i think it was higher when it was airing right?
It's because majority of the audience here wants a happy ending with lovey-dovey couple most of the time. Since this is somewhat diverging from formulaic kdrama, people are upset. I won't go into the demographics of this site, but that plays a major part in the rating.

They were working with a budget, still created a masterpiece. Watch 3 episodes atleast, focus on story, acting and soundtrack. I vouch for a better show than remake. saying this, even though I like korean shows better mostly.
