I actually liked this drama, it was really good until the last few episodes. After young Park Jin Gyeom started developing time travel symptoms thats when everything went downhill. The appearance of that old guy made the drama even more confusing. Nonetheless, if they could’ve put that aside and worked with what they had back in the 1st half of the drama it would’ve turned out nicer, the ending didn’t make any sense to my either.
What’s the point of paying for famous actors if you’re not going to make a good drama out of the amount of money you paid for them? This drama went nowhere. Park Bo Gum is a really great actor with amazing looks and Park So Dam made me speechless with her ‘Parasite’ acting that I was really thinking I was about to watch a masterpiece... sad to say, this is making the top of worst 2020 drama I have seen thus far.
They spent so much on these cameos yet are unable to make this drama stand out? If this doesn't improve I'll definitely give this one a score below 8 which I rarely do.
Can we have a kiss between Jung Ha and Hae Hyo? It's not that I don't like Hye Joon but we need some action, this drama is getting boring and if Jung Ha and Hye Joon don't break up then the ratings will go downhill. We need some change of pace in here, some spice is what this show needs!
Unfortunately, I find this drama overrated. It's good but it's not good enough. It's not deserving of being on the "Top Shows" first page.
The thing that bothered me the most is the misleading description of the drama. Although not misleading to some, I didn't deal with this well. It tells us that Hee Sung has a completely different façade with dark secrets which is false, the drama's dark core is depicted through other characters and not Hyun Soo himself.
The synopsis focuses mainly on how Ji Won will try to resolve the case, but to my dismay, this only took around six episodes. The rest of the story focused on Hee Sung's family and the police trying to solve the case which made the drama less interesting. Although the drama itself was rather good I didn't like that the synopsis was kind of deceiving.
I hate it how we can be spoiled in such an easy way. I remember watching It’s Okay to not be Okay and there were times I couldn’t watch it on the day it released and spoilers kept flooding in either in the comment section of MDL or on Twitter, a simple gif or word can break you apart.
The second con was also really realistic. When I saw the first few episodes of PBIO I did wonder “Will the next episodes be as amazing as these, will I keep rewatching the scenes a lot of times?” it was a struggle I must say.
I will never drop a drama but sometimes there are dramas that take me ages to finish.
On my On-Hold list there are two dramas that I can’t finish which are Eternal Love and The Untamed.
I can’t seem to like chinese dramas and I even started The Untamed to see if something sparked since people really liked that drama but I still can’t like them...
She herself has a disorder so you can't really blame her, she doesn't really know what's right or wrong...
I do also understand your point of view, no one likes her behaviour and neither do I but she can’t really help it and we can’t do anything about her, it’s a drama after all.
