Your right. In her last outing the shows ml and 2ml dragged the whole series down just like they did the other shows I’ve seen them in. Can’t see there appeal except for some girls think there cute. I guess if they stay in the business for long enough they might learn to act.

I think almost everything you wrote was spot on except for the romance. From the last 15 minutes of the 4th episode there was no doubt from there looks and actions that a physical and emotional attraction was already under way. But both new it wasn’t the right time for it sense she was still underaged (This part is just my speculation)everything from then on was a constant deepening of there affection and respect for each other. Just so you know I’m ignoring the last two episodes they were as you say totally out of character from the rest of the series. Just my two cents.

It went from the best k drama I can remember in the first 14.5 episodes to a ending that could complete with the worst k dramas out there. I say this but my wife loved the ending. I asked her how could we still be married after 35 years 😋😍😍

Ok I’m getting a little annoyed. Why do people keep saying that the fl is clueless and annoying. She has a dream and goal that she’s pursuing. There is a lot of clueless fl in c and k dramas but I don’t see her as one. The clueless ones are her ex and some of the other male characters

I thought it started to jell during the piggy back ride after she got drunk from the liit. When ml showed that he really understood what was upsetting her. I love there relationships from that moment on. It is one of my favorite c-drama’s after a love so beautiful.

Liked it more then I thought I would. I loved Both leads in there other shows so i gave it a shot even after all the yelling in the previews.

How did this drama deserve an 8.4. They had a few quality actors but they even looked bored with this plot.

Even 12 was2 to three to many. It. Had some comedic value in the beginning but after 6 to to 7 episodes that got pretty redundant.

Acceptable doesn’t seem like the right word though. Understandable,logical or justifiable endings seems more to the point. I mean he gave up his life for the Women that he loved when Byj couldn’t stay in Korea for the person that cherished supposedly with all his heart. I’m sorry I’m a sucker for grand romantic jesters. But 2521 ending was more like F-it I give up. 😤😤

No problem here. I’ve always enjoyed your comments and knowledge of the drama world.

But when you binge the c-dramas don’t you watch at least 3 or 4 in a row. As the term binge implies. I’m not trying to argue about this because I’ve really enjoyed a lot of c-dramas The second Asian drama I ever watch and still one of my favorites was a love so beautiful. I still watch the 22and23 episode when I’m feeling a little down and it always makes me feel better.

And c dramas normally have 5 to 6 minutes of opening and closing credits If you count total time they normally both run around 20 hours.

To me it’s the opposite. Most c-drama’s have too many throw away episodes in them. K drama’s have them to but there’s fewer of them because the series are shorter on average. I’m starting to enjoy Jdramas more because there normally shorter with less fillers.

I’m one of those Kdrama fans who likes to watch my favorite episode or series over and over again .. it’s. Been a month now and I can’t watch this series again yet. While it was airing I would watch the previous episodes in anticipation for the the next episode. So to get my fix of ktr I’m rewatching mr sunshine again. It’s the first time since it first aired 4 years ago. I loved it then but didn’t rewatch it because of sad ending. Now the ending doesn’t seem so sad compared to 2521. I know that this may sound strange because of deaths and all but they were not out of the norms for the plot and characters.

I’m just wondering if the ending would of worked better if ktr and njh didn’t change the ml personally from what the writer first planned. If I remember ktr said in a interview that byj was supposed to be a quiet and sullen person. If he played it that way his actions in the last episodes might not have seemed so out of character. The way they built up there relationship and the warmth they showed doesn’t fit with how they ended it. But if they kept his personality like that the first 14 episodes wouldn’t have been the masterpiece that we all loved so much.

I was just checking out the bio’s of the actors. Come to find out that the 2ml that I got the creep vibes from was also a creep in real life. So it seems like he just acted as himself in this drama.

Loved fl voice. I never paid much attention to K-pop until I went on line to see if it was really her singing. Now that’s about all I listen to. I liked the first 12 episodes except for that whinny ass 2ml(bassist for cp). God was he annoying.

Your right. I was fully invested in all the characters in 2521. Even though I’m a fan of the fl from her previous works it was hard to get attached to any of abp characters. They were too predictable.

Its funny on dramatist I keep seeing negative comments about 2521 ending. But I see very few complain about how boring the last episode of abp was. Except for the one over used trop I really can’t remember the rest of the episode. I didn’t like the outcome of 2521 but I will remember every scene of that series for a long time.
