I did watch the long ballad. Dropped it for some reason. I don’t think that I thought it was bad. Just not my cup of tea. When it comes to my dramas I’m normally not into period pieces unless they are fantasy or a romcom. I watch Asian dramas to escape life for a few hours a day not to be burdened with realism.
I remember the three kingdoms from a long time ago before I got into Asian dramas. But again it looks heavier then what I normally like. I’m having a hard time finding BLAR. Could it be under another name? All for now 😊

Haven’t seen enough to make any theory’s. But I do like the fl. First saw her in the smile has left her eyes and this is my first life. Both very good dramas. I couldn’t get into her last one though. This one looks promising.

It is true that a lot of countries eat dog meat and the French and even a lot of southerners eat frog legs. But the English have used the frogs as a derogatory name for the French and westerns have used the eating of dog meat as a way to disparage Asians not just the Chinese. I do have an issue with the term koreaboo being used here. It’s being used as a derogatory remark for anyone who likes k dramas. I wonder if this person knows the real meaning. It’s for people who gets so immersed into the Korean culture to forsake their own. In America we have a term called a wannabe. Most of the people being called koraboo are just fans of the shows.

Thanks I’ll check them out. I’ve heard of a few of them but haven’t watched yet.

We can rate a 10 now and change it when we get to a point in the drama that we can make an honest rating. Don’t want to do this but I don’t want for ppl to get turned off from the artificial low rating.

Your right. Especially the racist and nationalist comments. I’ll do my part and stop discussing it. But I was being honest about wanting to know about better quality cdramas Since I guess I’ve only seen the cheap ones. This is not ment as a slight.

Please enlighten me. Y’all keep saying that you have these dramas that are so great. I guess all the cdramas that are accessible to me are your low budget dramas. I can only judge what I see. And yes it came across like a cheaply made drama.

Money spent doesn’t mean quality of product. Otherwise American drama would be better then the Chinese dramas by a long shot. My favorite cdramas is a low budget web drama. « A love so beautiful «  and I’m watching who rules the world right now. They seemed to have spent a lot on this drama but the wire work in this is over the top and badly done.

That’s why Mdl gives the option to rate each episode But what can we do.

It’s not that there giving an honest score. To give an honest rating you need to have watched a lot more of the episodes to give an accurate rating. There has been numerous dramas I’ve watched that I really didn’t enjoy the first episode because they were mostly trying to introduce the plot and characters. I have a rule that I will watch at least the second episode before I decide to continue or give up on it.

I thought of putting that in. But I trying not to ruffle there feathers more then I need be. But I was laughing about her comment privately.

It’s all silly. Please just enjoy the dramas. If you find it’s not to your liking switch to another one. There are plenty out there. Silence Chinese ppl?.there’s over a billion of them how are ppl doing this ? Just curious 🤨

I think that the hardest part of a drama is ending it in a plausible ending. The last two episodes were all over the place.
