IMO the storyline and the characters are good. I noticed that some of the commenters are giving it a low rating because of the "cheating" that's been happening in the family. If that's not your cup of tea then I suggest don't watch it.
This was cute, but the storyline isn’t that cohesive or well-developed?? It felt like the plot was fast and rushed and idk it lacks something. The chemistry between the leads and the team’s friendship are good tho.

But if I were to change some things, I would probably give Tae Sung a love interest lol. I felt kinda sad watching him yearn over Sol 🥹 idk how to put this is english but gusto ko rin sana na medyo pinalawak pa nila 'yung story ng killer, like I loved the conflict ng plot pero sana nabigyan pa ng sturdier story at depth 'yung killer arc. Sana binigyan nila ng dahilan kung bakit ganon yung killer, hindi lang yung isang scene nila Tae Sung at ng tatay niya.
BUUUUT OVERALL 10/10 PA RIN kasi nga naman rom com siya! Tangina 'yung kilig ko at na-relieve ako kasi nagkatuluyan sila sa dulo!!!!!!!!!! THANK U RIN SA LOLA NI SOL FOR PROTECTING SUN JAE AND SOL 😭

IGNORE ALL THE COMMENTS IN HERE. Because of the comments, I've had doubts in watching this, especially since I found the first episode draggy, but I promise you IT GETS BETTER.
I'm not an avid watcher of KDramas, so this was just suggested by my mother and my friend (honestly, I think this is only my fifth time watching and finishing a KDrama), but I thoroughly enjoyed every parts of this series. The time skips aren't hard to understand, the leads (and the second couple too!) have crazy chemistry, the angst was just amazing, and it was fucking comedic!!! I GOT SCOLDED TWICE BY MY PARENTS BECAUSE I WAS LAUGHING TOO LOUD WITH SOME OF THE SCENES 😭
Anyway, to each their own, I guess? But take these comments with a grain of salt and just try watching the first few episodes. I swear it gets better. I have no regrets of watching and finishing Lovely Runner. SolJae mahal na mahal ko kayo 😭🫶🏽
