The thing is I relate to Amagi in some ways…the feeling of being abandoned by people again and again makes you close yourself to relationship…that’s why though the events are about the daily happenings, they are leading up to the two understanding each other better: Amagi to trust and Takara to express his feelings…we have to remember this is an adaptation of a manga…I have come to think mangas really touch on so many profound issues in a simple way…
Logged in just to raise the rating of the show...it is just unbelievably cute and captures the innocence of youth as the young people start exploring their feelings towards the person they like...the actors have all brought the characters to life amazingly...if you read the manga, things become clearer about the way they behave...Takara really is wooden-faced (except when he's calling Amagi "kawaii") and Amagi is bright like spring...
I like how sensitive this show is. Can't really explain it but it's so cute.
Really, in these times of free love the biggest obstacle is finding the connection with the right person...the drama is well adapted...the actors really bring the characters to life...finally found the Japanese video of the manga...
beautiful drama...but touched a very raw nerve with the sad theme of death as I recently lost a dear student I taught since he was 9 years old and have know for 11 years...watching him grow up from childhood and turn to ashes has been really painful, so dramas and books have been an escape...he was supposed to go to uni this year...so at the moment reincarnation is at the top of my list...
