There could have been so much more done with this drama, but in the end, it was kind of disappointing...but I…

We have pretty similar tastes :)) Well, except for the historical part. If it's 50+ eps of family and romance, it's Life is beautiful. I also liked King of Baking, Kim Tak Goo, Assorted Gems, Family's Honor, New Tales of Gisaeng. A 50+ eps drama that's airing right now is Give Love Away - i've seen the first 3 eps and it seems promising. Hope this helps^^
don't get distracted by the many episodes, it's totally worth watching, the actors did an amazing job

yes, he's the main lead and it has lots of romance and comedy. as for other dramas...something i fnished just recently and would fit rom-com is "panda and hedgehog" and "can we get married?" (really really enjoyed this one. it's got its sad moments but a happy ending).
these are some of the ones i have high ratings to, but that's just my personal taste, i don't know if you'll think the same:playful kiss, star's lover, my girlfriend is a gumiho, life is beautiful (warning-has gay characters as main leads, but the story is extraordinary and because of the gay-theme, it's unlike any other kdrama i've ever watched), assorted gems, stars falling from the sky...

god, this is a tough question :))) I finished it back in June, and since then i've watched a lot of other dramas...but i do remember that the reason i started watching the drama was because of the main lead, Park Shi Hoo (who recently starred in Cheongdamong Alice). He's a really good actor, and he fits the role well. If you're into family dramas, this is one of the best, with a nice story that goesn't get boring, nice ending, and really good cast.
I have no words that can express just how much I enjoyed this drama.
The witty and fast-paced dialogues, the chemistry between all the characters (not just between the main actors), the funny comments or situations, the realness of it all, I loved it from beginning to end. It seemed like every episode was a movie in itself. I'm giving it a 10 and definitely re-watch status.
it's a pretty good family drama, but it does seem to lag from place to place and tends to repeat the same (breakups) themes. they could've easily made this into 30 eps (or less) instead of 56.
159 eps and it never gets boring. very good drama!
i'm sending you a private message because i don't know if we're allowed to advertise different sites in here

are you kidding? you should totally watch it! right now! :P seriously though, I thought everything about it was brilliant. don't expect a love story like in full house, this is action all the way.
don't forget to tell me what you think after you're done!

Yeah, there was a time when I had a lot of free time on my hands so what better way to spend it than watching dramas? :D The first time I saw Rain, it was in Full House and he didn't leave a big impression but then I saw Fugitive:Plan B and I couldn't believe it was the same guy!
I really wish I hadn't watched the last episode. somehow, it managed to ruin the whole thing for me
oh boy... yeah, I've been looking for something like City Hunter too but haven't found anything as interesting except Fugitive:Plan B... maybe you might wanna try Poseidon for some action... A man's story... "The world that they live in" was pretty interesting and unique (though it has nothing in common with CH)
