I think you should go in with an open mind and decide for yourself.

Season 2 has a three year timeskip after the events of the finale. Expecting the characters to remain stagnant and not have any development/changes after the trauma they went through is silly. I do think season 2 is not amazing, but not for the same reasons most people cite it as; i.e "their personalties changed", "i miss mudeok", "naksu plotline doesn't make sense"

For what it's worth, i think the premise of the second season is actually really good, it's just the execution that was lacking especially as the show went on.
