Bruce's smile with those dimples can electrify any scene! Just super handsome and always a pleasure to watch!

What is this a picture of? They both look kind of awkward, like American Gothic or something!

THE funniest scenes in the show are in episode 6 when the prankster and the FL "spend the night together," particularly after he lectures her that for propriety's sake, men and women should NOT touch each other let alone sleep together! LOL!

First kiss? Or Fantasy? Any excuse for a closeup of the gorgeous Bruce He!

Love this scene right after she starts working at the department store. It's the classic lean in and hover over the FL but it affords closeups of the uber handsome Bruce He! No wonder everyone thought they were having an affair and that's why she got the job!

I agree 100% with Richel's review above! It just felt like they were together because they were the main characters. The whole show is rather meta in that they're discussing how the plot should turn and fully aware of the manga character coming to life but that's what drew me in. What I struggled with was not feeling the romance deeply enough and the omnipotent faceless villain. He's also written to fill out the enemy who must be defeated but I really just didn't care. Of course Lee Jong Suk could just read a chemistry textbook and still light up the screen but a drama needs more than just a gorgeous lead!

What a killjoy! These actors get paid a lot of money to bring fantasy to life. Their lives and looks are often played as highly idealized be it looks, wealth, or other physical attributes. For as long as there has been film there has been beauty represented. Heck all of the history of art is also about representing idealized beauty. If part of being an actor also requires looking good shirtless then so be it! I'm superficial enough to admit that for as long as I've watched dramas and movies, physical attractiveness of the male lead is what draws me in. As long as there's no physical or mental harm to the actor then have at it. Frankly I think female actors have it worse having to remain thin which could possibly lead to eating disorders. I suppose male actors could start taking performance enhancing drugs because of the pressure to be more muscular. But even Asian actors with great bods are not that big so somehow I don't think it's a problem for them. Let's just enjoy looking at attractive people on our screens and not ruin the fun!
