I think it's just fine as long as the story doesn't get too dragging midway. Actual episodes are about 30min long so for me it's tolerable to watch.

Unfortunately due to the covid situation and the actors' schedule, it will be hard for the team to fly out of Thailand. They might push through with this scene but in a different setting. I hope!

They're not yet done filming because last year and this year, filming series had restrictions due to covid surge in Thai. Also the main leads are shooting other series other than f4.
