now that's an excellent movie the plot was crazzzzyyyy, intense and tragic 4th wife wanted to play the 2nd wife but got played instead... like when the 2nd found out she wasn't pregnant she should've pulled out the voodoo doll out of her pocket and blame it on her 🤷♀️ i was born in the right generation cuz no way in hell i would do all that just for some lanterns and sleeping with an ugly old man 😭 and i would probably kill a man if he treated me like that really sad about the 3rd wife's and yaner's deaths men really have a long disappointing history of ruining women’s lives smh it was funny that they didn't show the guy's face even for a second lol the cinematography was so aesthetic
it was more about autism than the crime so it wasn't thrilling at all kinda slow but nonetheless an ok movie kim hyanggi is an amazing actress she carried the show it's funny seeing shitty people like jung woosung playing the good guy i bet even they themselves rofl when they get this type of roles 💀

not bad but not that good either the beginning was good but the middle to end was kinda boring and underwhelming i would've liked it better if they focused more on dou zhao and song mo relationship rather than the court meng ziyi and li yun rui's chemistry was crazy when they were promoting the drama but they had no chemistry in the drama but it kinda got better after they got married
took me almost a month to finish this every second of it was excruciating it was boring, bland, super slow and sometimes super dumb and annoying they had zero chemistry and the romance was not romancing it was just cringe and awkward... the fl character was just not likable... she was too annoying... another reason that i didn't like her was because she had a grudge against her mother, and resisted so hard to understand her when it was so easy to understand what auntie had been through... liang jie's acting was not believable either... she would be crying and going through hell and i was unmoved... and the styling team failed her so bad like i have never seen a person that wears that many hideous plaid shirts back to back it really pissed me off chen zheyuan's acting and facial expressions at the end were like someone that has autism more than someone with ptsd... it made me google if people with ptsd start speaking like kids and make those types of expressions??? but i didn't find anything so idk... and the whole thing about him going back when he was mentally unstable was just plain stupid i said it before and im gonna say it again one funny thing about c/kdramas that pisses me off every time is that they make up a whole new country to show that there's a war going on in the said MADE UP country but they always use brown and black people, arabic names and aesthetics... adding some whites don't make it a made up country... like be serious... and some scenes such as the new year's fireworks really were just plain illogical and crazy... i guess li zan was the only one allowed to have ptsd 💀 it did not live up to the rating, all the praises and my own expectations... just so unserious & unhinged 😭

i think if they wanna make dramas based on webtoons but the webtoon ending sucks this bad, they should be able to change it and make it better (with the author’s permission of course)...
