Can someone please explain to me why Li Chuan married Shangguan Ya (the eventual Empress) if the Emperor wanted to prevent the Noble Houses from getting stronger? Qin Zhenzhen seems like a better candidate since she has a military background rather than from a Noble House and the Shangguan family was already the biggest threat. Wouldn't the Emperor prevent that from happening?

Bai jingting is truly so versatile. His acting in Always on the move was so impressive... Like how is he going from period drama and slice of life to traffic star type drama?! And he totally FITS the role like a glove according to all of the photos we have seen so far.

This drama literally changed the way I view Cdramas. This is such a gem. It's too bad that period dramas don't really get the attention of international audiences because I would LOVE to see more discussions about certain plot points.

I feel like the worst are the people who are encouraging this by saying “omg he loved her secretly for so long 🥺”. Like they are the people who make it weird and bring criticism to the drama because they have some sick fantasies. The people who didn’t watch the drama and criticize it, they are easy to ignore because they are just ignorant haters but the people who watched it and want to fulfill their sick fantasy by saying he always liked her make me so mad.
