Usually there's absolutely no romance in historical or the bare minimum, Korean shows are the first shows I've seen that throw it in any chance they get. I will admit though the show did get better in episode 4 it just should've started this way instead and got rid of 1-3 which were padding

Yeahh I'm not really big on the idea of older kdramas just because of the quality and lack of budget. I only find it weird because before I got into Kdramas I only knew historicals as action focused shows, all of my favourites are.
