It's not scary at all. It has dark scenes, but it's not scary. Then again I don't think voice was even 1% scary at all, but this is definitely less brutal than voice.

my name was kinda generic, but I'd argue that was its strength. It did a lot of the basics better than everything else in its genre. Ever since squid game the originals have been improving for me.

For movies, I guess you just haven't been watching many from these genres. The originals have been pretty much written as long movies.

My take on that was that she saved him so he could grow up suffering and have a family, only to kill them then him. Maybe I just think dark.

Hmm? We had some great shows this year. My name, Squid game, Hellbound, DP etc. To people saying they're trying to 'Americanise everything', you clearly haven't watched many Korean movies, because this is exactly how they are.

Not sure about the activity but a lot of shows are having their ratings fixed right now, with a lot of them being from bot accounts. It's only obvious for shows with less members, since the rating change is bigger.
