though this movie does create a conflict between reality and fiction i'm 100% they did have feelings for each other. that's the whole point. how far can you go before it becomes real? they were both so tortured by their feelings that they poured all of that into their roles... so by the end, all of us are left confused. what was real? was it all fake? that's exactly how the main characters feel... they were both miserable at the end because they wanted to continue being walter and singer
