This kind of behavior does actually exist ALL over the world. Some like it, some not. Some see it as obsessed,…
The couple has amazing chemistry, which is why those extreme scenes disappointed me so much.🥲

EXACTLY 😭 not every ML needs to be a green flag or a perfect boyfriend. Sometimes I want to watch a character…
My concern isn’t finding him interesting; it’s seeing people justify and glorify his behavior. Abuse isn’t limited to physical violence. I don’t believe love can change a narcissist who shows no genuine remorse. To me, these storylines sell false hope.

I understand your concerns and I agree that his actions shouldn’t be dismissed or romanticized. However, saying…
I understand your point, and I agree that analyzing a character doesn’t mean excusing his actions. However, some viewers do seem to overlook his behavior and even glorify him. That’s what concerns me. I hope his character development won’t make people forget the harm he has caused.

oh you mean like everything else thats been normalized in shows? beating people and even children to death, owning…
Thank you for your respectful response. The fact that other horrible things are normalized doesn’t make this any less disturbing. Abuse shouldn’t be romanticized just because the abuser is the male lead. They’ll probably give him a redemption arc and expect us to forget everything he’s done. Fiction can portray bad people, but in real life, people like this rarely change so easily.

So you’d actually want a relationship with someone who harasses and bullies you? Really? Bullies and abusers don’t magically change. Expecting this narcissist to turn into an angel is the real fantasy.

If you're still around, can you explain how he's a r*pist. I'm only on ep 12, but as far as I know he never r*ped…
Well, there’s no rape since they never actually go that far. (But every other kind of abuse is there). Not that any of that matters, of course. Go ahead and enjoy the show.

What was that saying? Oh yeah: This is not an airport, you don't need to anounce your departure.
We have every right to call this out. Honestly, I have to question the self-respect of anyone who still watches this series and actually finds it entertaining.

I’ve seen people in the comments arguing that what this man did wasn’t rape, as if that somehow makes his actions acceptable. I’m disgusted.

He touched and kissed her against her will, and the fact that she couldn’t stop him doesn’t make it any less serious. He was clearly willing to go even further. How can anyone watch this and think people are overreacting?

And no, he’s not a “red flag.” A liar or a cheater might be a red flag. Someone who violates another person’s boundaries and ignores consent is far worse. He’s a predator, not just a walking red flag.

I sincerely hope none of you ever have to experience what this girl went through.

I’m against scenes like these being aired in the first place. It’s disturbing that so many people don’t understand how serious this is. When shows keep presenting this kind of behavior, people may start seeing it as normal. Over time, they could become less sensitive to harassment and assault. That’s exactly why these scenes are so dangerous.

Even though the fight scenes are exaggerated, they are still incredibly fun to watch. Let the female characters join in and let's see some female power!

There are many sexual conversations and scenes in the novel. I wonder if they will reflect this in the series. Or will we constantly watch the man leaning over the girl and staring at her? I wish we could watch some brave scenes even if they break sexual taboos.

I was so looking to this due to the leads. I expected a lot from IJY after Glory but farrkkk what's with the overacting?!…
I would understand if someone who has never watched a Korean series made this comment, but we see exaggerated acting very often in Korean series anyway. This is nothing to be ashamed of, it is wanted this way and the actors play like this. Don't think about these attitudes in real life.
