Cinematography of Ep 2 had me rolling lol, they seemed to have mixed high level shots with the usual weekend/daily drama shots. My guess is either they are going to continue like this throughout the series or the first episode and couple of scene's in the subsequent episodes where shot while shooting the trailers. The scene where Da Rim's mom sets up the table after the death of _ in EP 1 and the family dinner scene in EP 2 actually takes place in the same part of the house? (they have the same chairs). It will be fun to see how this new layout will play out.
Yup it takes time, I watched a few minutes raw and it does seem like a high budget weekender, I miss those obnoxious sets where you know its obviously a set. Also great seeing you after a while since LYOL :) Had to sit BAMR out, I would have not survived that sh!tshow if i followed it weekly.| LYOL - Live Your Own Life BAMR - Beauty and Mr Romantic ^ previous two weekenders
Mirae is an awesome character, her pain and emotions seemed so real especially when she lost her mom in ep 4. She had to watch her mom be ass*ulted as a highschooler which just layers onto her protectiveness. Being the older sibling she protected her brother and mother, any normal human being would be upset if someone who failed you all your life waltzed back into your life. Her frustrations, her anger are all believable and real. Her own family failing to see this to some extend is sad but I guess soon they will, especially her mom in this episode
Its still very confusing but kinda fun I guess I really like byeon mirae's character, her anger is justified I hope her dad would work really hard for her forgiveness
Well that was a rollercoaster ride Even though towards the end of the show the writers went kind of astray, the story was great compared to its counterparts, it was how they implemented it which was shoving some pretty heavy stuff towards the end which obviously left all of us in a trance.
In the finale Ru Bi's monologue, the family accepting how their actions failed Hyo Shim, Tae Ho and Hyo Shim's emotional reunion, wedding and the surprise bundles of joy along with Seun Soon pulling Tae Ho's ear as mother would and the genuinely happy atmosphere included my highlights. All the characters had a good ending and seeing them thrive in their element was what I think all viewers asked for, happy to see Hyo Shim being treated better and how she has sources of happiness in her life, instead being for someone else.
This might seem really insane but I hope Lee Hyo Chan d*ed/ living incognito knowing how much he missed out and felt/feels the same misery his family family went through, knowing that he will never fully be part of their happiness ever again. You can stay with you mistress trash desreves trash. I would have wanted see this good ending span for 2-4 episodes but that is impossible in a weekend Kdrama lol. (don't want to dwell on the fact that they royally messed up in the last couple of weeks, separation time skips towards the end don't make sense). This was one of the better weekend dramas and the finale genuinely made me smile( even though I felt it was rushed). Kudos to cast, they all did an amazing job.
Also special mention to Yongtak shi for creating such an amazing OST, ‘Go Your Own Way’ was such a treat to listen to, one of the rare instances where I actually enjoyed the OST.
The only wholly positive experience out of this was a sense of community with you guys, venting frustrations, theories, getting to know about behind the scenes and much more, definitely wouldn't have survived especially the last couple of episodes if it weren't for you guys!
@Kathryn_51 your Tuesday Trivia were really fun, @bloomingtide your keen eye left no plot point unturned, @angelwg, @Pachecopc and also many of you guys the interaction was really memorable. It's the first time I had a sense of community, maybe because the show spanned for what seems like an eternity. I can still feel the emotion of watching the show for the very first time, never thinking things would turn out the way it did now.
On that note I did watch TRHC and LYOL back to back and I don't think I can watch another weekender lol because of all the waiting, honestly if I watched YLAG while it was on air I would have lost my mind. (I wished to have amnesia too while watching 0_0 ).
Those of you guys moving on to BAMR (Beauty and Mr. Romantic) all the best guys, hope y’all have a blast there too, would love to check it out after it has aired a good chunk of its episodes. (has the same writer as YLAG, so BAMR might be way too angsty, not in the mood for that now) Im Soo Hyang and the new cast hwaiting! Good Luck to BAMR and the viewers! Y'all might need it :)
There is a behind the scene photo posted where Advisor Choi is seen wearing a Hanbok, i guess worn by the wedding party, Tae Ho wears a suit and presumably Hyo Shim wearing a wedding dress (but her picture is cropped from after her shoulder, so you can only see her shoulder). We have to wait and see if their wedding sequence is going to take place for real.
Tae Hee, Hyo Do, Mi Rim, HS's former gym employees, old dude from gym are also seen in photograph. Also filming was completed on March 12 as confirmed by Uee.

I too want to know about Hyo Jun. As unbelievable as it might sound 20 episodes back, now Hyo Jun and Mi Rim have a wholesome relationship . He manned up for his kid and Mi Rim supported him to get out his slump/self pity/self centeredness and helped him navigate through his difficulty. Mi Rim basically forced the story to move forward, she is a great character funny yet does not put up with nonsense. (Hyo Shim take notes please, everyone is rooting for you since day 1) Who would have thought they would be the only couple(HJ+MR) who were formed during the series to actually have a somewhat healthy relationship. I hope he put his angry personality to good use soon towards the people who ACTUALLY DESERVES IT.

Beauty and Mr. Romantic has a mix of actors who had roles (mainly annoying) in YLAG and THRC(I hope they weren't typecast for those roles and instead play better ones here). Both shows had writers who picked up plot points at random and gave characters the worst personalities and growth curves (but the actors all did a fantastic job acting out the script they are given even if its bad) I hope Beauty and Mr. Romantic turns out to be better :) It is good to see Im Soo Hyang again! her choice of taking up a weekender would certainly help her re-enter the Kdrama narrative and showcase her skills to a wider audience.
