there were some genuinely hilarious moments but very few funny episodes. i wasn't feeling any of the couples and i only felt like i completed this out or loyalty.
I'm someone who cannot usually stand Siwon's over exaggerated acting but he is great in this. The supporting cast match so well and Lee Yooyoung is adorable.
It dragged a little in the middle and something felt a little amiss, but ep 12 seems to have set a standard for the pace of the final 4 episodes.
The drama started out interesting but the world-building (i guess?) regarding supernatural was weak and the romance was boring. The romantic chemistry between the leads were basically non-existent. I just wanted to be done with it towards the end.
cried a lot towards the end. a heartwarming story of a broken family reunited by an unexpected guest. jung joonwon was brilliant as the younger brother. predictable but worth a watch.
thoughts on ep 9 & 10: - choi seora is evil personified ugh she needs to get bitchslapped with an iron chair sometime soon - i want doha to join gabvengers officially!! - i still haven't figured out what kinda person director ha jiman is but love that dude - will jingab ever be going back to the labor inspection department?? :(
finally watched it. 10/10 would recommend. not the most original movie but it was a fun and light watch. i found myself tearing up one moment and laughing the very next constantly throughout.
- ryan and shian are probably brothers who got seperated as kids. and lee seol, the artist is most likely their mom OR they might've came across the paintings when they were kids.
- if the three kids in the very first scene are deokmi, ryan and shian/eungi i will fucking screeeeeam bc i hate the we-knew-each-other-as-kids-wow-is-this-fate cliche that has been happening a lot lately.
- it dabbled in wayyy too many topics than it could handle. - the titular miss hammurabi would've suited someone with actual acting talent like seo hyun jin better. the main lead is not suited for her job bc she's quick to jump to conclusions, has no tact and has zero objectivity. - it was too in your face with the social issues. zero subtlety. - sung dong il literally carried the entire show on his back - i had to skip scenes a lot in the second half and only completed this drama bc i wanted to know how it ended
