Its on TVN,a cable channel.6ish ratings is a very good number..Of course ,if it had PBG or similar stars it would…
Haven't seen Record of Youth but yeah I've read that the reviews aren't that great. That being said... I'd still spend 16+ hours just to watch PBG's face!!
Ep 9 was just WOW!! Finally we got to see more of the brotherly bond... Lee Rang and Lee Yeon are my OTP for this show (their relationship matters to me more than Yeon and Ji Ah's)!!! Its is visually soooooooooooo appealing. Everything and everyone was absolutely beautiful. There are some comments about Lee Tae Ri being too cute/innocent looking to be Imoogi. But I think that is part of the charm. Seeing the cute little munchkin be an intimidating badass villain would be interesting.
I think Shin Joo and Yoo Ri are a better couple than Yeon and Ji Ah... so they can be the (required) romantic…
Yessssssss! I think it well be perfect if they explored their bond as brothers more... It was interesting to watch Rang literally selling Yeon for those glass and in the latest episode all the flashbacks gave a better understanding of the kind of relationship these two have shared. The part where Yeon made his kite fly was really sweet. Going from such a pure and innocent relationship to what they had for the last 7 episodes... Concluding with Yeon's decision to save little bro in episode 8 has been a roller coaster ride! Hope the makers can continue this momentum.
So ... I have this theory where by the end of the show, the character roles will change: Lee Rang and Lee Yeon…
I think Shin Joo and Yoo Ri are a better couple than Yeon and Ji Ah... so they can be the (required) romantic pairing. Definitely agree with you that they should change the lead pair to the brothers and the story to revolve around the theme of them against the world.
Major Second Lead Syndrome!!!! Thankfully they didn't discard the second lead the way they usually do. Why is no one talking about how HOT Jo Jung Suk looks with his specs on????
This movie is definitely made for adult audience! It's not your typical rom-com (Thank God for that!!!). Both leads have amazing chemistry. Loved how comfortably the actors have portrayed their parts. The intimacy feels real. The comedy isn't forced. It's definitely the kind of movie everyone watches and LOVES but pretend they don't. Go ahead! Watch it!
Can't believe that I had to go through the comments section to get more clarity about the ending and the numerous questions that the drama left me with! I thought I was the only one stupid enough not too understand it. Lol! ??
Actually, you can still read reviews/synopsis, watched trailers, etc without joining MDL. Unless you want to post…
Yeah we can! But I wanted to keep track of all the dramas I've already watched and the ones I wanted to watch next... Also, it felt nice to be a part of a community where we can talk about the things we find interesting without the fear of being judged!
A well written article that spells out the journey for a lot of new Asian drama fans. I too started watching because I saw an advertisement by WeTv on Instagram some 2 months back! I used to read reviews and synopsis on MDL and around 10 dramas later I joined the community. Now that I think about it, I think I should have started earlier, I was missing out on such great content.
Binged watched this one... OH MY CHEEKS!!! Haven't ever smiled this much. Each episode is a treat to watch! I think I need to review all the ratings now .. this show is GOLD.
Even though I haven't watched the show yet, I watched "My Dear Youth - Coffee Prince"... just for my love of Gong Yoo and Kim Jae Uck (Wook). I think I need to put everything else on hold and watch this series first. I think its going to be something I'll have a tough time getting over!
