yall...the ending scared the shii out of me

I started this drama because of tiktok and aint gonna lie was ending was a$$...and the story was mid at best. However I do liked a few things about this drama. The leads, the story fast paced and how the character faces and setting looks natural, not too much filter but even then the couple chemistry was at best above mid but do appreciate that there was no cringe moment, for me at least. Oh and lets not forget the a$$ ending i mentioned....well...it was bad, there's not much to say really, and I'm not judging anyone's appearance but the character surongqing was lowkey unpleasant to the eye...like the only eye candy in that drama was the lead and the girl with the mask. I did finished the drama but out it was out of boredom...there are wayyyy better political drama out there but if you're interested in the lead, they have decent amount of screen time so go ahead. Not much else to say really, plot was predictable and acting was ok.

easy tip 24-30ish eps is pretty light hearted (esp 24eps) but if the drama is above that be sure to prepared some tissues

not gonna lie, i have same issue (confused) but after like ep 25ish everything will be explained and if u still on ep 14 know that right now u're watching a flashback

nah fam, the only good japanese remake I seen was probably day time shooting star or today's kira kun

also just a quick notice, if u can pass the first 2-4 episode, promise ull love it. if not u can get a refund from me

u should try ashes of love or goodbye my princess or ten miles of peach blossom if u dont like idols drama. guarantee will love it or view chinese drama in a different ways or maybe change ur mind. If u want anymore dramas u can ask me, i will give u the good goods
