In my opinion, the main leads were great at the beginning, but the issue the writters added and solved in ep 47 didn't need to be. In episode 7 she said that Hyun bin was to her more than just a first love. She said that he saved her life and is the reason she found her vocation. When a woman says something like this you espect her to fight for the relationship. But kdramas always have this break-ups that i find annoying because sometimes like in this one, it doesn't make sense.

I only watched our golden days because of the third couple. It was the only one that was worth rooting for, and you could see why they love each other. Well they have an open end for a senseless reason. The other couples were meh... And the main couple, we don't really see them as a couple. That show was just bad.

this is true. And in my opinion it reduces the quality of the show. When i read the synopsis from the show, i tought that the MLs relationships would be the reason both families reconcile. That is what the synopsis led me to believe, but no their relationships had no impact at all. Furthermore, the third couple was just neglected, so much so that the impact of their sadness right now and the fact that Woo Jae confessed his feeling to Eun bin is almost at zero.
