gun reminds me of ji sung's acting in the kdrama, kill me heal me, where he played as 7 different personalities/people. I hope there's a thai remake because gun would be perfect for the role considering how versatile he is :)
also, I can't get over how khatha and dome remind me of yo han and ga on in the devil judge lol.
tbh they should debut 2 groups like what they did with pd101 s2 (wanna one and jbj). there are so many trainees that deserve to be in the final lineup, but having to narrow it down to just 9 is hard.
Didn't expect to like this as much as I did. Definitely an underrated BL.
I'm glad that Dome and Vee had a somewhat happy ending, but I need them in another series together! You can't just hand us a couple with intense chemistry and give them the least amount of screentime and development lol.
Also, I love that we're getting more BLs with supportive female characters because it's so refreshing to see!
ep 1 and 2 were SO annoying to watch like why do they always cut to the audience reactions every 5 seconds, i…
for real, it would be better if they showed their reactions on the bottom corner of the screen during the performance so we can enjoy it without all those cuts lol
It might be a bit early, but no one really stands out for me
I think it's the fact that there's a lack of individuality on the show. In the produce shows, we get to see the trainees appeal themselves to the judges by singing, rapping or dancing to another song, but we only get to see that with a few trainees here. I think that's also why it's hard to remember faces and names. It seems like mnet is gatekeeping what we want to see lol
***SPOILER ALERT***I loved the screenplay and how this show was directed. But I have QUESTIONS!! So someone please…
I didn't read the manga, but from reading the comments, I believe the threesome was unsuccessful and that's why Eiji and Meiko did it again without Makki knowing. That's why Makki was questioning Meiko about her symptoms because it didn't match the timeline of her pregnancy. For your second question, I think Eiji got closer to Meiko but it's still platonic. I think he's trying to make himself believe that Meiko is the one he likes now so he doesn't disappoint his parents and so he doesn't think about Makki. I also think he breaks down after returning home because he still loves Makki. He has to live in a loveless marriage just to please his parents and to bury the fact that he's gay. It's so heartbreaking, yet realistic. Honestly, at the end of the drama, the ones that are truly happy are Eiji's parents and Meiko's daughter
Was I the only one hoping this would end up as a poly relationship?? I feel like this could have been a good opportunity…
Same. From the beginning I thought a poly relationship would work out since they all had equal chemistry with each other, but at the same time I feel like it would still end the same way because of Eiji's parents :(
What I love the most about this BL is that we don't have characters that are trying to figure out their sexual orientation or sexuality, and there's no 3rd person or homophobic parents trying to break up the couples (so far because we have yet to reach the cursed ep). It's also refreshing to see a BL that's centered on friendship and getting to know someone first. GMMTV really outdid themselves because tbh I wasn't a fan of the ones they released last year and when this came out I was like "they heard me and they delivered" lol
I'm so happy to see Jay again! He was my fave contestant on Under19 and I just want him to debut already. His vocals are so clean and I could listen to him sing all day!
