Honestly I didn't have much expectations either but I ended up really loving it

They're pretty similar but boyhood is a bit funnier? Although the bullying scenes and the fighting does get too much there too. The main bully is practically a psycho and surprisingly boyhood feels a little bit more real than these two. I wont spoil much but there's some heavy emotional and frustrating scenes as well. Boyhood is like a mix of both sg and whc1 and is no way just giggles all through yk. Try it if you have time it's good.
