Director Yoo Je-won has a great talent for creating intimate moments that feel genuine and natural. I really appreciated this in both The Smile Has Left Your Eyes and Tomorrow With You. His scenes focus on the emotional connection between characters rather than just physical closeness. I’m hoping that love Next Door will have similar scenes nothing graphic, but intimate, sensual, and beautifully done.
whoever is styling the leads is doing an excellent job! i love all of their outfits. esp seok ryu's styling. i…
Lately, I've been really disappointed with the fashion in some recent K-dramas, like my sweet mobster, miss night and day, and frankly speaking. The female leads all seem to wear shapeless clothes, with the same bangs and loose curly hair. It feels repetitive and uninspired. That's why I was hoping for something different, and Somin’s outfits didn’t disappoint. Her skirt outfit in ep 2 is so girl next door classic and cute, and her other looks are smart and chic. Even Shin Min Ah in No Gain, No Love is stylish. Seeing these characters dressed so well is bringing back my faith in K-drama fashion!
raise your hands if you saw the store manager unnie~
Yess, also Cha Hui Seong! Actually I couldn't recall where I saw her last but the moment I saw our Unnie guy I got this rush of their memories from behind your touch 😆
but imagine telling her he likes her after overhearing that she still loves her ex fiance? I could never. If it…
I don't think you've watched the drama or understand the context of the situation.its not just about confessing, it's also the circumstances. Irl if you pursue a girl who's just gotten out of a relationship you'd end up in a reddit post.
People want fastfood dramas nowadays. But where is the journey.I am all for quick romances and love when confessions…
Exactly, they’re childhood friends who haven’t seen each other in forever, so of course, they’re going to fall right back into their usual routine of annoying each other and having each other’s backs. It’s what they’ve always done, and it’s comfortable for them. If they were strangers, I’d be all about pointing out the attraction and saying, "Come on, don’t miss this!" But since they’ve got all this history, it’s going to take time and effort to shift from being just friends to something more. It’s not just about realizing there’s chemistry. they’ve also got to deal with the fear of rejection and the risk of messing up their friendship. Imagine if they do something crazy like rip each other’s clothes off the second they reunite? Wouldn't that be effing weird
This kind of issue always played in drama, a character keep a fact because they dont want their partner/ family/…
but imagine telling her he likes her after overhearing that she still loves her ex fiance? I could never. If it wasn't a romcom can you imagine the awkwardness ugh makes me shudder. I think it's fine to gets some distance to sort out his feelings. And then i also feel bad for Seok Ryu who feels like she did something wrong. Poor guy is going crazy 😅
but damn the backstory of the leads hint towards something sad
