I haven't seen this drama, but in general, here are my thoughts on situations like this: If a kid is 14 and has a crush on his teacher...that's pretty normal. If it's reciprocated by the teacher and becomes romantic, that's a crime. However, if it stays a crush and the student and teacher become friends, that's fine so long as no boundaries are crossed beyond friendship. A mentor/mentee relationship would be fine as well. Since this is just starting and is supposed to follow several years, it's hard to pass judgment yet of any kind since apparently they haven't said what will happen.
I'm determined to finish this drama because I'm 17 episodes in, but I will be so glad to be done with it. The romance is cute and the acting is good, but seriously...the tropes. I usually don't mind the tropes and some I really like, but there are some that just get on my nerves and this drama has SO MANY of those. Unreasonable parents, misunderstandings over stupid things, clingy ex's, obsessing over an age gap that is not even that big...I'm usually ok if a drama has one of these, but this one has them all. I have found myself fast forwarding through almost all of the parts that don't contain the two main leads. Though the second leads are good and I have watched that couple some as well, but still. YIKES!
I LOVE THIS SHOW!!! Seriously...it's just so much fun to watch and the two leads are perfect together. I haven't seen casting quite this good in a while! And the plot is interesting too. Just enough of a mystery to make you want to know more without dragging it out too much. LOVE IT!
