Thank you for such an amazing article. This makes me want to rewatch and really understand the character Hao Du…
I am sorry, but he totally sees the person of Hao Du through rose tinted glasses. The real Hao Du was no hero AT ALL! He was killed for being a traitor against Tang Taizong, conspiring together with the irresponsible Crown Prince, Tang Taizong's own son.
He was a turncoat. Only his love for the princess made him somewhat likeable in the very end. Yet still: the real Hao Du married one of the daughters of Tang Taizong. But failed to make her happy.
To finally get himself killed for muntiny against Emperor Tang Taizong as a coconspirer of the irresponsible impetuous Crown Prince, son of Tang Taizong.
He died. She remarried. And was as radiantly happy in her SECOND marriage as the CDrama pretended her to be with Hao Du. Sooooo... 🤷
I found it totally understandable! It's made for China and treats the subject of how neither Chinese nor foreign companies can get away with poluting Chinese soil and rivers.
If I were Chins, I'd be very careful to not get other countries offended by an educational entertainment show.
Synopsis is that a group of federal investigaters investigate crimes against the environment.
At one time chemicals in a depot blow up which costs one of the female investigators their lives.
Another one is despairing to be ever able to stop crime against nature, if I get it right.
And yet another one is really angry. And at one time the character of Gao Weiguang gets REALLY determined to catch all evildoers, which isn't easy as there is money involved and some people living there rely on that easy money, whivh is why they polute. And are really dangerous.
They think they do her a favor. "Speaking up for her, seeking justice".
When it is merely dragging someone who asked for time to heal and for quiet into the spotlight again.
It is horrible, that she experienced mistreatment. Nobody should have to undergo that.
But if someone withdraws for feeling unwell... let them have peace. And rest.
Girl weighs 36,9 kg! Heavily underweight!!!!!
Also: "diagnosed with cancer". 😳
Her physical conditions keep getting worse over the years. It is utterly delusional to think that this can go away within just one week.
She is just putting on a brave face for the idiotic fanbase who forced her to take a stand.
I hate that for her.

And you missed it all.
Its name was changed to "Snowfall". Which may be why.
But it's still great to watch.
