Turns out Netflix translated it wrong, the actual Korean dialogues said that Izmael attacked Paltima and Izmael militants kidnapped South Koreans, EXACT OPPOSITE OF WHAT WAS TRANSLATED!
I feel like Netflix translated it wrong on purpose.
yeah so true it made me also really angry because I loved it but they had to leave a bad aftertaste

that doesn't even make sense. this is an MBC drama, Netflix just distributes it

I feel like Netflix translated it wrong on purpose. And this means none of this is MBC's fault, if you don't count touching on a sensitive topic unnecessarily.
imagine being silenced your whole life because your so called sister got deaf. and then you can't even act cold…
It's weird to me how you're like Ina was a kid, but guess what? Heejoo was a kid too, and did you not watch Heejoo's sign language monologue towards Ina in ep 6? Ina was selfish, she knew Heejoo could actually speak, but she let Heejoo act mute coz misery loves company. And in the flashback before the car accident, they did seem to have a good relationship, but after the car accident it seemed like Heejoo was afraid of Ina or offending her, coz ofc Ina was the real daughter and Heejoo must have had to act as her servant. If Ina was nice to her, at least Heejoo would've felt like she wasn't alone, but she was cold, even though Heejoo, who was younger, was actually kind to her.
You know, I thought this too at first but I am just happy they aren't dragging this drama! There is something…
Actually I'd have happily watched 4 episodes of the leads just living their lives together, happily after all the shit went down. It could have been like 12 episodes with this fast paced momentum, and then 4 romcom episodes of our leads just living lol, but ofc we aren't getting anything like that.
Im sorry I dont get what you mean? what is "this"? and what you didnt want him to tell mijoo yet?
YES esp coz ALL romantic scenes are from past, we only have 1 scene from present, besides i really dont know how exactly are they gonna fit it all in 2 episodes, as well as more wholesome family scenes and romantic scenes, so im really scared that its gonna be hurried up and too much stuffed in last 2 episodes (AOS 2 trauma again lol) but stilll, its like a genuine fear, lets see..... and abt AOS 2, pls the whole second part was imo a slap in the faces of all the viewers, the downgrade from AOS 1, i swear- the only parts i liked were jang uk (HIM IN S2), and as always the amazing cinematography, other than that, nonsense was happening like literally ARE YOU TELLING ME JIN MU STILL SURVIVED AFTER WHAT ALL HE DID IN S1???
The timeline is confusing me too, but I don't think they were together for 7 years. The present seems to be set…
But I thought that was 2015.... when he got appointed? And also 2022-2015=7 and i thought the twins are 7 yrs old too, so i thought the timeline matched.... pls explain me and correct me if im wrong

I agree actually, but still this much emotional reaction was enough for me, esp after that horrifying insult and excuse of the 'big reveal' in S2 of Alchemy Of Souls, I'm more than satisfied with this.... But still I'd be very much seated if they give us more emotionally powerful scenes with mijoo, kangho and kids, I'm a sucker for that :D

Also +1 to everything @Sunflower512 said
