a painful suspense thriller which would only earn praises for the tight storyline, stunning acting and an excellently directed movie. Must watch, if you can handle medium gore
In the final scene of After My Death, Young-hee is walking ahead in the underpass while Kyung-min hums. Then the humming stops. Young-hee turns back, looks at her, and continues walking.
I think the humming stops because Kyung-min has finally made her decision. And Young-hee turning back before walking away makes it even more heartbreaking. Kyung-min has just told her everything, explaining how nobody cares, and Young-hee still chooses to walk away. It's as if the scene proves Kyung-min's point one last time: even after making her pain known, nobody will stop for her.
leaves a lot, i mean a lot to be desired. still a entertaining and captivating storyline. just needed to be fleshed out more. cinematography weaker than Kill Boksoon, but watchable.
