once dushik fights his demons he might be okay to to leave the village if thats what she wants... also dont forget…
career growth is seen differently by different individuals... for some its being happy and content and for some its moving up... if hyejin was someone who only cared about going forward in her career and making more money then she would have stayed in seoul giving a blind eye to whatever her senior was doing... but she cares for the patience and respects her profession and wants to treat patients the way she wants without anyone else interfering... being a professor in a college is not the only way she can move forward in her career... she can study further... if she wants she can go outside the country and work as well... private clinics can be a better career option if it becomes successful and she decides to open different branches in other nearby small villages... she can be a business woman and a dentist at the same time...
once dushik fights his demons he might be okay to to leave the village if thats what she wants... also dont forget…
how is there a sacrifice in career when the opportunity is equally good? how is having a clinic in a countryside any less than being a professor in a big city? esp when that countryside dont have any clinic at all... she is making money, living at a place she likes with people that cares for her and genuinely loves her... she is literally loosing nothing here... also dushik is not a guy who will stop her if she wants to try out different profession... so if she chooses to stay then the decision will be entirely hers and it will be her choice which should be respected...
God i HATE this trope of making female characters "choose" between their career and love. Why can't they do both?…
once dushik fights his demons he might be okay to to leave the village if thats what she wants... also dont forget that hyejin already started loving the village and if she chooses to stay then it wont be solely because of dushik... it will be because she started liking the village more than seoul... its not always black and white... even with rachel... it was not just ross... dont forget they have a child together and she had an entire life in new york... she not just chose ross... she chose everything that comes with staying in newyork... i am pretty sure majority wanted friends to end with all 6 of them saying bye to the apartment and not just the 5 of them with rachel on a plane...
It honestly isn't a 10/10, not even close, frankly but it is still a very good drama.
Compare dramas with the same genre... Squid game comes under the same genre as sweet home and Alice in borderland.. since I haven't seen squid game I don't know how good it is compared to the latter two so I won't comment on that... Hometown cha cha cha should be compared to other romcom kdramas and compared to those it deserves to be 8.9... it is in the same league as cloy...
yeah.. i understand he regrets how he treated her but lets be real that doesnt make him like her more?? i just…
He never admitted to himself that he liked her and he thought he married her because she was alone and not because he liked her... He is a dense guy but like the gossip lady said he won't do anything he don't like... Other people know him better than he knows himself...
is that good? Start Up was No. 1 at one point wasn't it in India?
hometown cha cha cha is in top 10 dramas worldwide currently on netflix... i guess its doing better than startup... i dont think startup was in top 10 worldwide ranking...
is that good? Start Up was No. 1 at one point wasn't it in India?
i dont remember startup being no.1... infact any biweekly kdrama being no.1 in india... squid game is the first korean drama to be no.1 in india... before that only western dramas and indian movies/series topped netflix india... most of the times biweekly kdramas are below 5 in top 10... now 2 korean dramas are in top 5...
Have you seen korean movies? They are more violent than hwood movies and some movies even had explicit sex scenes…
squid game writer didnt get any platform to make that drama till netflix stepped in and produced if... if anything netflix is making kdramas more open and worldwide... most of the netflix original kdrama content are amazing and dont have much sex scenes... even the korean movies on netflix are not that explicit... asian culture is not that fragile that a streaming platform can malign it...

I liked the ending of parasite... It has multiple dimensions... I mostly don't watch violent movies... Have seen those kmovies either because of the actors or to see the original versions of the movies bollywood copied😂...
I mostly watch korean rom-com, comedy, slice of life kind of movies... Haven't watched a kmovie in a long time...
Agreed, I just feel so happy cause after start up there were some people who actually thought (and voiced those…
The only people who thought so are the ones that hated his rise to fame... The guy is very much loved in Korea and good looks + amazing acting skills is a total win in korean entertainment industry...

Have you seen movies like I saw the devil, memories of a murder, handmaiden etc... There are others but I cannot remember the name... Also horror movies are far better than hwood horror movies...
If they were homophobic they wouldn't have put a gay character in the show in the first place...
She might need to move out of that town or a new character needs to come at the end for her to have someone... That village don't have much young population and is very small... So it's understandable if she don't find anyone there...
yeah.. i understand he regrets how he treated her but lets be real that doesnt make him like her more?? i just…
He never liked chohui more than hwa Jeong... Even cho hui said they admired the relationship they had and never thought they will get divorced... Everyone in the village already knew he still cares for his ex wife... He just got blinded by seeing his ex crush again and he isn't deep enough to understand hwa jeong's insecurities... He just sees things as it is... He always did what hwa Jeong told him to do even if she didn't mean what she said... Similar to the pregnant lady's husband... These guys are much more real than dushik who is perfect in every way possible... Dushik is like a guy written by a woman... Just perfect but in real guys are dumb and dense like the village chief and pregnant lady's husband...

your comment is applicable to both fandom as both are still fighting...

I need a proper biological crisis... They cheated us by showing a completely new scene after the beach kiss...
