there isnt enough of eunoh? i felt there was too much of her and thats why it got annoying... 2-3 episodes were dedicated solely to create sympathy for her character... even after that if viewers think there isnt much of her then the writing of her character is completely flawed... i get that love just happens but when that love ends up making someone self-destructive it's unhealthy love and promoting it is not something i support... if they show it as it is and problematic i am fine with it but if they sugarcoat it and justify all the wrong actions in the name of love then I wont be able to see it as just love or enjoy it... a person needs to have a certain level of self-respect and self-love to love someone else properly and unfortunately none of the two has this...

i started watching run on with zero expectations and just because it was on netflix and i was just neutral about it for 3-4 episode as well... but then it ended up being so well written and well directed... i wanted to watch love-struck the moment it was announced and it was the time i was watching both BR and iontbo... the first 5-6 episodes were fun to me too but when they started to force feed on how deep their love is and there is no scene that solidify this, i started to find JW and EO's actions extremely annoying... then i watched till ep 10-12 just to see if there is any chance that they are going 500 days of summer way but then it ended up being so typical... now its only 2-3 episodes left and its on netflix... so i am watching it just to finish it...

upto ep 10-11 i had hopes that they will go 500 days of summer way and thats why i kept watching thinking they will address the issues and problematic behaviors of both EO and JW but when JW started going after EO like nothing happened i got where this is going... as JW asked EO wtf is wrong if her friends find out? right now her reasons, her low self esteem and his self imposed misery and self destruction looks so meaningless and out of place and they wasted 9-10 episodes to show these things that lost its credibility with 1 scene...

i think it could have been better if they simply promoted it as a typical rom-com like true beauty instead of trying to make it look different or unique... one of the reasons why majority of the people dont have any problem with the typical cliched story line of true beauty is because its promoted as a typical cliched kdrama... they didnt go around promoting it as unique or different... i agree that the format is different with the iv style and the cinematography and all but apart from that story-wise its so messed up... they should have went for a more comical or lighter way to show EO and JW's story instead of portraying it as so intense and keep showing JW to be so miserable for 9-10 episodes... its like more than half of their story was written as a melodrama and the last 2 episdoes as a comedy...

not really... he went to search for the dashcam even before GJ said he is hallucinating... JW said she saw EO at RY's neighborhood after he remembered about the dashcam... he wanted that dashcam to make sure that he saw the real one and it wasnt a misunderstanding... he clearly wanted to search for her in the neighborhood with that video...
jaewon still has that photo and he was screaming like crazy at GJ for the dashcam and ended up paying money to high school girls for his own car keys... this show has so many loopholes and that too just to move the story forward...

it was good... kind of had the same vibe as kingdom since its also a survival kind of show but not as good as kingdom... i liked kingdom more... the overall drama was still really good...

rom-coms, slice of life, suspense thrillers etc... i dont watch suspense thrillers while its ongoing because i tend to be impatient but its one of my fav genre... mostly lighter genres with not too much intense scenes but time to time i do love watching dramas like kingdom or sweet home... i guess anything except too much action and politics and crime...
