I mean people are commenting on how the show is slow or lame..but no-one is getting that first it's a web short…
A 30min short drama is supposed to be fast track and not slow paced because it don't have the time eso when there are 6 main characters... Web series are more fast paced that kdramas... As a result of the slow pace we don't have much insite to the problems of the other 2 couple...
I fully agree with you! They should have underplayed the negatives- this episode was much better than many but…
I also want to watch the next episode just to see how it goes and not because I root for the couple... there is only 4 episodes left and I want to know how they will warp things up... The comedy part of the series is really good...
when presenting characters with flaws there is a right way and there is a wrong way of doing it and this drama is doing it in the wrong way... its very necessary to not overdo the flaws of the characters esp main leads and lovestruck for more than half of its run time repeatedly only showed the flaws to the length that the reasons for their behaviours no longer hold valid... if whats wrong with secretary kim gave a lot of importance to the narcissist nature of the ML it would have become annoying instead of being funny... in real a person as narcissist as the ML is not a very ideal person to be in relationship with but since the drama never went overboard with his flaws it didn't affect the likeability of the character... if tale of the nine-tailed only kept showing the villainous side of lee rang and didnt simultaneously showed how much broken he is inside then the viewers wouldn't care about what happened to him... his emotional side was so strongly portrayed that the viewers gave a blind eye to his flaws and rooted for him till the end... if iotno only showed the arrogant and problematic side of ko moon young without simultaneously showing her childhood then it would have been hard for the viewers to sympathize with her and connect with her...
jaewon as a character has been beaten up so much that when he goes after eunoh even after everything it comes off as creepy instead of romantic... they should have just shown him having her in his mind for all these years without him going to the length of being an alcoholic because of the breakup... when a relationship ends up affecting someone negatively to this level its no more romantic and its unhealthy... they should have pulled the break on eunoh's lying and inconsiderate behaviour with the police station( that itself was way too dragged) but they dragged it even after that... like knowing what the guy is going through for more than a year and not doing anything wasn't enough... after everything, she did i as a viewer is supposed to believe that she still loves him deeply...
I actually just watched 1 ep of this. Is this worth catching up on seeing that the rating is only 7.9?
it completely depends on your personal taste... give 3-4 episodes a try and decide for yourself... its a different format so not everyone will like it... just 1 ep wont be enough to decide as its only 30mins and first ep was just introductory...
Maybe that's called LOVE. It doesn't matter if it is a summer fling, one day or even one minute if you are head…
Love has many forms and when someone loves the other by sacrificing self respect or gives a blind eye to their partner's lying and deceving then it's called unhealthy or toxic love... The girl on his face said she isn't the one who he liked and also after giving many chances chose to run away or lie... But jaewon is persistent and going after her... He isn't even giving her space... he needs to let her be and atleast wait till she makes a move... Let's forget the fact that eunoh still likes him... What if she was actually a player who just wanted to have fun? Jaewon will be nothing but a clingy guy who cannot accept a no and want things his way... It's quite unrealistic to say he can feel her love and he knows she still loves him... A lot of stalkers go after girls with the mindset that the girl likes them and a lot of guys keep pursuing girls who rejected them with the mindset that her no means yes... Even if she still loves him, she clearly don't want to have a relationship with him and he don't care for the fact... Just because jaewon is played by someone as gorgeous as jcw doesn't make his actions less creepy...
The makers are just romanticizing everything wrong and presenting an unhealthy relationship as intense love...
The flaws in GJ and RY's relationship are realistic and since they both have been together for 5 yrs and known each other for more than 10yrs we can say some of the behaviours have become a habit or one adjust just for the sake of creating peace in the relationship... Every relationship will have that kind of flaws... i get that there is immense love b/w those two and due to that love they swept some of the problems under the rug...
FL and ML finally had the talk but its going the way I feared it would go. A typical 'love overcomes all'. I don't…
One of my main problem with the drama is the product is not what they advertised... They should have simple said it to be a typical cliche love story instead of saying realistic take on the relationships of young adults...
Nope... The SFL at the start wanted to get back with the ML but she don't do anything problematic or evil to get him back... When she gets that he moved on she steps back... She also don't hate the FL...
Is everybody fine with song ah 's behavior, I mean in the 1st episode she was so bad ass when she told ro won…
why should she get her hands dirty and ruin her image for a guy like that? its a sad reality that as a woman she will have to face the consequences and some people will point fingers at her if she outs him in the office... when they are alone she dont let him walk over her and when he crossed the line she slapped him... she works with him and its said that she loves her job... creating a scene at the office will only put her in difficult position and it will affect her professional life...
in the initial episodes, it looked like rinyi dont love GJ as much as he does but i guess thats not the case... she dont want a new nightstand only because the old one was painted by GJ and she dont want to throw it away... she seems to keep things based on emotional value and dont seems to be materialistic at all... she seems to not like working on other people's terms and conditions and that might be why she only does part-time jobs were she can leave when she wants... as of now none of RY and GJ's relationship problems seems to be too big that cannot be talked out and solved... i just hope they dont end this series with these two breaking up and the other 2 couples getting back together... out of the 3 they have the least problematic relationship from whatever has been shown...
jaewon has turned into those female leads of early kdramas that will take any shit from the rich male lead but will still go after them... now i feel like i am watching playful kiss 2021 version... jaewon is oh hani's long-lost brother... atleast on hani was a 16 yr old highschool girl... eunho finally gave him the closure he wanted and he still goes after her and behaves like a lovesick puppy...
What are the ongoing dramas you are watching and your take on those?
Mr.queen and run on... Both are amazing and I love it... Lovestruck in the city is okay... I like the new format, the cast, the acting and the direction but it can get draggy... It's one of the rare shows I am not rooting for the main leads to end up together...
As a result of the slow pace we don't have much insite to the problems of the other 2 couple...
Everyone's acting is really good...

if whats wrong with secretary kim gave a lot of importance to the narcissist nature of the ML it would have become annoying instead of being funny... in real a person as narcissist as the ML is not a very ideal person to be in relationship with but since the drama never went overboard with his flaws it didn't affect the likeability of the character...
if tale of the nine-tailed only kept showing the villainous side of lee rang and didnt simultaneously showed how much broken he is inside then the viewers wouldn't care about what happened to him... his emotional side was so strongly portrayed that the viewers gave a blind eye to his flaws and rooted for him till the end...

He is one of the hottest guys out there...
