run on is literally gonna ruin other kdramas for everyone... they just did almost everything right... run on handles…
The concept of lovestruck is good... The new format, the direction and acting is also good but the problem is they are trying to be both realistic as well as typical kdrama... The lead's story is so damn predictable... Also they drag it way too much and don't give enough screentime to the rest of the couple... They are forcing the main couple down my throat... I was so excited to see kjw and JCW paired up together and the characters are so boring that I don't even feel the chemistry after 3-4 episodes...
run on is literally gonna ruin other kdramas for everyone... they just did almost everything right... run on handles…
It's ep12 and eunoh is still running... They already told us what happened to her but still they dragged an entire episode to show us what happened to her... This is a short drama and the others rarely get screen time and the makers are just repeatedly showing eunoh and jaewon's irritating behaviours again and again... Like we already know what happened to her, they could have just shown her seeing her cheating boyfriend, loosing her job and then going to yangyang and meeting rara... they just showed everything so detailedly and dragged it...
This is fast becoming a very likeable show. I was not sure why ISW picked this one but his character is quite…
I have noticed that siwan always has an eye for unconventional roles... He don't take up typical kdramas... None of his dramas are alike or from the same genre...
run on is literally gonna ruin other kdramas for everyone... they just did almost everything right... run on handles…
I also watched it without any expectations and to see if kim seon ho was in it as the FL's ex... The initial episodes were just normal but then it just turned into such an amazing dramas... Characters are weird and flawed but the audience can connect with their weirdness and flaws... Lovestruck could have done that but they over did with the flaws and that made audience like me get detached from the characters... When the FL in runon broke up with the ML saying she prioritise herself it came off rather understandable and healthy than being selfish or inconsiderate like eunho... The ML was an emotional wreck after the breakup but he didn't go around being a pain in the ass and gave the space the FL needed to clear her head... Danah could have also been a toxic character if the writer didn't know where to put the full stop... She could have been annoying if they stretched her rudeness without showing her background... Lovestruck streched eunoh and her inconsiderate nature beyond limits that when they finally started showing eunoh's past it no longer justifies her actions...
I'm probably the minority here, but I feel like they shouldn't have shown Eun Oh's background story. Instead of…
Every person handles hardships and heart break different and I get that she used to be very timid and shy and that ended up being being used against her... It broke her self confidence and self esteem and she wanted an escape from life... I get that she was an emotional wreck and broke up with jaewon without giving much thought into his feelings... But never even thinking of coming clean even after more than an year and keep on lying even after getting caught just so that her fake personality will always be on his memory is screwed up on so many levels... The extend to which she went to just so that jaewon will only have memories of spunky sunha is unjustifiable... She don't care that the guy has been questioning himself for more than an year and became an alcoholic because of her... What matters the most to her is the image jaewon has of her... Like wtf Her fake image is not more important than the mental peace of the guy she claims to love so much... It would have been fine if she only has the guilt of hurting him but they show it as if she is also going through pain and love him dearly... Sorry but I don't feel any kind of love from her side... now even jaewon's love has turned into an obsession... I don't see any love anymore between these two...
I am also hoping they don't end up together. That's my happy ending for this series. They have such toxic dynamics…
exactly... a broken eunoh broke jaewon in the process... one of the main reason why jaewon got so obsessive over the relationship is because he have no idea what went wrong or what he did wrong... if it ended like how his other relationships ended he would have been leading a normal life...
its like what FL in Run on said- love yourself coz you're going to stay with yourself longest. try to fix yourself…
run on is literally gonna ruin other kdramas for everyone... they just did almost everything right... run on handles characters with flaws like a pro...
i would really like this show if those two dont end up together... it would be more realistic and very different…
at this point, the main reason i watch it every week is just to know if they will do something different and let the leads go their separate ways... i also feel that i am disappointed because of expecting that regular cliched 'happy ending' when their relationship is way too shallow to hope for a happy ending... GJ and RY only have problems that can be resolved through opening up to each other... they clearly just look into the glossy side of the relationship and dont address their shortcomes...
you are not alone... i started wanting that since ep 5 or 6 i guess... he needs to learn to let go and stop being…
but the makers are clearly going to show that jaewon's love is gonna heal her... cant believe its the same director as iotnbo... in that also they kind of went the root of love heals mental issues but they still addressed the fact that the FL has mental issues and the ML has metal stress because of looking after a mantally challenged brother... eunoh clearly needs to learn on her own instead of jumping into another relationship without resolving her issues...
Am I the only one who doesn't wants ML and FL to end up together? They both need some closure and move on with…
you are not alone... i started wanting that since ep 5 or 6 i guess... he needs to learn to let go and stop being a pushover and she needs a proper therapy... she shouldnt be in a relationship until she sort herself out on her own...
I can understand how the FL ended up where she did, I can empathise with her journey that lead her to the coast…
i would really like this show if those two dont end up together... it would be more realistic and very different from usual rom-com dramas... but i feel by the end the other 2 couple will get together whereas GJ and RY will breakup... GY and RY need to have a talk asap... GJ is trying way too hard in the relationship and RY is not seeing that at all... i think GJ and RY can work out if they talk and just get things through... from whatever is shown they arent as much of a lost cause as the rest of them...
Ahh.....Jae Won, how can you go to Eun Oh and say on her face, you like Yoon Sun Ah because she is not plain,…
the guy cannot even understand that she wasnt happy to see him at the police station and was being clingy... but in his defense how is he supposed to know why she broke up with him apart from lying... he only knows she had a bad break up and she came to yangyang... he dont know she has that much complex and self esteem issue... he gave her as much chances as he can but she still chose to hide or lie... he is completely right from his side... he clearly got attracted to her carefree and daring attitude...
General question: Does anyone really feel that the acting is bad in this drama? I can understand not liking the…
i dont think the acting is bad but i do feel i have seen kim ji won do better acting... she is good as eunoh but did a bit over acting as yoon sunha... i felt that way in the first 2-3 episodes... apart from that i dont thing there is bad acting in this drama at all... everyone is doing a good job...
i get that you got bored of the drama as a lot of people have the same problem with this drama but how is ji chang…
i havent watched any of jung hae in's dramas so i am not familiar with his works... i get why he chose to do BR and lovestruck... i am among the people that liked BR but i also get why some people didnt like it... since i have seen a lot of korean movies i got some of the parodies they were doing in BR... the comedy in BR was mostly parody of movies and dramas that mostly only korean general public gets and due to all those controversies they had to change the story line... i liked the quirkiness the drama had and it had some well written emotional scenes and relationships.. it surely could have been better but it wasnt bad either... the ML from BR is one of the most real guys in kdramas... he has his flaws and was just an ordinary guy from every possible way... in short the character wasnt exactly hero material... its hard to imagine someone like ji chang wook in that role and thats why i appreciate him for taking up that role...
lovestruck's format and the way its shot are interesting but the problem is they should have went all out and showed that the characters are problematic instead of trying to justify their wrong actions and romanticizing some behaviors... they could have simply tried a 500 days of summer instead to trying to be both realistic as well as cliched kdrama... its okay to show flawed characters but they shouldnt try to cover up their flaws with emotional scenes...
