The direction is amazing. Director deserves a standing ovation. This drama does have a lot of cringe scenes like true beauty but the direction made it look way better.
I like to appreciate the healthy family dynamo both sunjae and Sol have. Im geum might be a cartoon but he truly loves his family. In the first episode we can see him being super tied from job and it also looked like he don't like his job but still he wasn't annoyed at Sol or grandma for being noisy. He didn't look like he is burdened by them. He clearly had to leave his dream and look after his family after sol's accident. I guess apart from sunjae's motivation to live on, the main reason why soo got out of depression and ended up being a positive person after the accident is how good her family is. They all love each other and take care of each other. Sunjae's father brought up an entire Amazon green forest on his own after his wife died.
I don't think any drama in recent times got the kind of hype this got in the first two episodes itself. I wasn't planning to watch it while ongoing but my insta got filled with their scenes of him running towards to bus, her running and hugging him, then the revelation of him liking her, all those scenes instantly dragged my attention. I must say that all their scenes are shot extremely well and the chemistry is very strong between the two. Most dramas nowadays take 4-5 episodes to grab the kind of attention LR got in just first 2 episodes. I have seen a lot of people all over social media saying this drama reminds them of the dramas that made them fall in love with kdramas. It has that old world kdrama charm which I guess a lot of people were missing in the last 4-5 yrs.

The killer hardly has 5 mins screentime. They are focusing less on the killer.
She needs to keep a tab on the reason why she time travelled. They cannot edit it out. Over all those scenes only take up like 6-7 mins in a 60-65mins episode.
The episodes have been exceptional but ep 9 and 10 seemed a little bit dull for me. I sincerely hope 11 and 12…
That's mainly because ep 8 was way too good. 9 and 10 didn't had much cute romantic scenes of the leads unlike previous episodes but ep 10 overall was good. Esp the ending.
