I know kdrama audience mostly only care about the male characters but blaming the fl whose sole purpose everytime she gets a chance to travel back is to make sure the ml stays save and happy is just too much. She could have thought of making her and her family's life better in those chances instead of going to any length to keep the ml safe. The first two times she didn't even know he was in love with her. She did that as a gratitude to a person who motivated her to live on.
The third time she went back to save the person she loved and her priority is to keep him alive in the future and not to cater to the emotional need of the past sunjae. She don't know to the extent he is in love with her. Inhyuk is the only person who knows how much he is in love with her.

I am seeing some people making their own stories in their mind and wanting the characters to act accordingly and when it don't happen then get disappointed. I have seen this in a lot of dramas. Instead of enjoying what's shown some people want to see what they have in their mind.

What explanation can she give? That she is from the future and she wants to stop the ml from getting killed?
The ml also has more than enough embarrassing scenes. It's a Korean rom com and that kind of embarrassing situations are common in kdrama rom coms.

She don't give a shit about him and that's why all she thinks about is how to keep him safe and how to make his life better.

To start with she never knew he was pinning for her for 15 yrs and she don't see herself to be that important for him to be in love with her to that extend.
She wants him to be far away from her when the kidnapping happens to the second time so that the killer won't be aware about him at all. She ain't no master planner to come up with a better idea in a short spam of time. She came back to 2009 right after seeing the guy she loves in the hospital in a coma and blames herself for his condition. She don't care about his emotions and only care about keeping him safe.
She don't have time to cater to his emotional needs and also keep him safe. She cannot predict the time she goes back to the present.

Sunjae was in depression and seems like he isolated himself from others including inhyuk. They necessarily didn't hate each other or faught but I guess ended up being distant and sunjae's decision to leave the group and not tell inhyuk first hurt him. Inhyuk's reaction is understandable when he gets to know about such a big decision made by his best friend since school from a 3rd party.
Inhyuk seems to be the only one with whom sunjae shares everything and he don't seems to have any other close friends. Sunjae seems to be the introverted kind and the extreme guilt and depression might have made him shut down from inhyuk as well. But in the second timeline sunjae don't have the guilt or depression so their relationship stayed the same.
