Kdrama viewers love to hate on female leads for the slightest of reasons and will make excuses to love even psycho villains like the ones from vincenzo and strong girl nam soo. I have seen people hating on nam soo for not reciprocating the love of the villain. 🙄. She could have thought of making her and her family's life better in those chances instead of going to any length to keep the ml safe. The first two times she didn't even know he was in love with her. She did that as a gratitude to a person who motivated her to live on. The third time she went back to save the person she loved and her priority is to keep him alive in the future and not to cater to the emotional need of the past sunjae. She don't know to the extent he is in love with her. Inhyuk is the only person who knows how much he is in love with her.

Even when she avoids him and asks him to stay away from her he gets worried for her and follows her around. So obviously being rude and directly saying to stay away is her best option. Her priority is to keep him alive in the future and not keep him from not getting hurt in the past.
