my best guess rt now is in search for his family truth they were thrown into a trance where we see the past being acted out as if canghao and qingyi are their own character, but when wuwu wake up from that state they have the memory of themselves being the parents. kinda like parents memory became their own memory in a way bc they acted it out in their dreams 😵
